Natural beauties of South Asia (& beyond)

Hi all to ease off tension in the impending chaos as we approach end of financial year, just thought we should post who we consider as natural beauties in any sphere of life. anyone whose features catch your eye and stand out, whether soft or sharp, simple or complex, whatever the preference. they can be in sports, television, film & music, fashion, public life, anything non personal.

wanted to request all South Asians (i.e. incl. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan + all in between) as well as greater S.A. or the neighbourhood such as Iran, Tajiks, south-western China, so we can all appreciate each others`angels. But heh if the Turks, Arabs or East Asians want to join in, I`ll be the last to complain the more the merrier.

Truth be told I'm a little confused, are there different races of Pakistanis and Indians? Like China's 56 different cultural groups? Because I feel some have lighter skin while others not so much.

well theres various ethno-linguistic groups in Pakistan and India, and dozens in the subcontinent as a whole. but its not as simple as that, throughout the centuries people moved from one part to the other and settled down, and adopted the local culture, that they called themselves for e.g. punjabis, even though they may be rajputs from our adjacent south originally, or sindhis even though they may have migrated from balochistan or khyber pakhtunkhwa long long ago.

basically we are one big patchwork/fusion of various ethnic groups, traditions, culture and languages. the original melting pot you could say China as far as I know is still fairly homogenous, meaning people speak languages part of the same sino-tibetan family, or maybe some minor differences but all appear east asian looking (and over 90% are ethnic han, no?). whereas here you will find every colour and look under the sun, as well as languages belonging to separate linguistic families, such as dardic, indo-aryan, iranian and even a small pocket that speak dravidian.
