It was dumb of them to block the road and even dumber of the driver to run them over, Can't say what his intentions were but alot of people are calling this an act of hate.

I fear that this thread is going to turn into a troll-fest. With that said, few people in America actually celebrate Columbus Day. Most don't even get the day off. This is much ado about nothing to me.

Americans and Pakistanis both have a road rage problem,The difference is Pakistanis race is out and Americans fight it out in the middle of the road,In this case the driver was outnumbered so he knew he could not win so he drove over them. Or maybe I could be wrong he was probably a bigot.

We don't know the story. For all we know somebody pulled out a gun and the guy floored it.

I didn't get the day off.

It's a federal holiday, apparently. So federal workers (and some students) get the day off. The rest of us just get to enjoy faster-moving traffic, especially here in LA.

people feel entitled to do whatever they want. protest turns into just disorderly chaos.

if these people hate the U.S so much they should just leave. Columbus is a hero. If they want protest anyone it should be the conquistadors.
