well, He's skilled in economy. He's a good muslim. But he was never a good statesman or PM. Yup. He didn't touch to Ataturk's laws. Cauz he can't do that. @Armstrong Defending the nation midst my Bengali brothers I see. @BDforever, I still think that BD should stop looking for an apology and instead clean up its house- dismantle the jamaat, and get rid of the elements which question BD's sovereign nature internally. BD is a nation now and it can't be overturned, you people got to take your destiny in your hands. Besides India got bragging rights for carving a new nation out. Celebrate that and strengthen your nation.

This is one sticking point between our two nations isn't it yaara. We couldn't afford to be hemmed in on two sides by Pakistan, it was a strategic necessity for India. While there had never been a heavy military presence in erstwhile East Pakistan- that could have changed with time and resources. It was a preemptive move on our part to secure our flank and create a nation de-linked from the traditional issues that were plaguing India-Pakistan relations.
