Water is not the only prerequisite for life, it is just essential. Theres one or two ingredients missing. But i guess you would have known that if lets see, you weren't sleeping during science class if you had any that is.

Okay , explain to us what "ingredients" are needed. Water borne organisms in this planet survive heat, lack of oxygen, cold and all kids of extreme conditions. I'd like to hear your " ingredients" as they taught you the term in your schools is must have... For earlier life form on earth, oxygen was death.

We are expecting other organisms to be structure of carbon and water. The basic fundamental thing can be entirely different.

What has been presented in the movies, magazines or any article is our general notion of structure of aliens with some changes. Some depend on human blood, some have large head and eyes.

Look at Einstein problem when he asked if we have to guide an alien to land, how will we convey left right and height.

See these abstract things are different, one can't possibly be 100% sure. Probability is very high because of our understanding of knowledge.

For some alien form, Water may be like Molten Lava.

well i doubt you would know what im talking about if i wrote chemical formulas. Please go read about the early Earth, then come here and talk. It looks as if you are clueless and only know "water = life" and nothing beyond that.
