Now mate, i have a question(directed to all Moderators). Why will a discussion or debate (which may or may not lead to Modi's glorification - on account of his performance in Gujarat) not be allowed on this forum?

Any discussion on Gujarat automatically has to veer towards Modi as he has been the CM of Gujarat for more than 10 years now. Gujarat's performance vis-a-vis other Indian states will automatically will lead to praise as well as criticism on Modi.

As you can see for yourself, people debate on the pro's and con's of Modi on every thread related to him. He is a controversial figure in India as well. But the point is that there is discussion, not a blanket ban. That is the essence of democracy. He is an elected CM of Gujarat, and has also been (for now) not been indicted by the Courts.

And pardon me, but if Modi being the CM when the riots in Gujarat took place (which makes him accountable for everything that happens there - ie his complicity either explicit or implicit) then by that same token, then any thread on Pakistani army should also not be allowed as they were involved in the same kind of killings in Bangladesh?

When you protest against some countries who put up bans on freedom of expression and whatnot, should you not practice what you preach?

Lastly, this is a discussion forum - an international one at that. I see no reason to stifle debates and discussions. One must be open minded to hear what you donot like as well.

ABSOLUTELY AGREED... and funny part is that mods close the thread by declaring fanatics who supports Modi...if you don't want to have discussion simply close the thread without taking jibes on anyone.

The title of Shri and ji ji ji is abhorrent to be used for a mass murderer like Modi. First of all as an institution we must take clear stands against renowned genocidal maniacs and second of all such behavior out of Indians is first and foremost shameful for them, it shows mental sickness to be supportive of such a killer.

As far as Gujarat's prosperity discussions are concerned - apart from not buying it, it has been stated no discussions related to Indian economy are needed/wanted/required/appreciated on a forum dedicated to discussing Pakistan - good, bad, ugly - just Pakistan.

Such threads are a failure on two counts - Modi and relevance violation.

We allow the defence discussions wrt to being related to Pakistan.
