Nanchang, November 2 (reporter Liu Zhankun) on Nov. 2, the 2019 Nanchang Flight Convention themed “Jiangxi Airplane Flies” is opened at Yaohu Airport in Nanchang. At the opening ceremony, Yin Meigen, member of the Standing Committee of Jiangxi Provincial Committee and Secretary of Nanchang Municipal Party Committee, said that the flight convention is the first high-level comprehensive aviation exhibition held in Jiangxi Province, which promotes the high-quality leapfrog development of Nanchang aviation industry and accelerates the realization of the rise of aviation industry, the strengthening of aviation research and development, the rise of Jiangxi aircraft industry, the rise of aviation town and the prosperity of aviation market. Jiangxi's “Aviation Dream” is of great significance.
Nanchang is not only the birthplace of modern China's aviation industry, but also the birthplace of the first aircraft in New China. Yin Meigen said that as the place where China's military flag was raised, Nanchang opened the "aviation dream" early and created a historical success, laying a solid foundation for the development of the aviation industry. Nanchang will focus on the potential field of the industry and strive to build Nanchang aviation city into an important aircraft manufacturing center, flight test center, maintenance and refitting center, scientific research center, and advanced auxiliary material manufacturing and R&D center in China.
