Now, in my view, IK is totally trapped and encircled by the forces of status quo and their agents. No escape available.

Bro, everything is being done according to a plan. Lets see if IK can handle the situation.. He has to save his politics as well.

If he resigns in protest, his chances of coming to power again are close to zero because the he couldn't build the perception of "difficult days will be followed by good days" very well.

If he sends him according to someone's plan, his politics will again get a severe hit as even his nazaryati supporters will leave him.

If he comes in between powerfuls' plan and somehow NS dies (natural or unnatural death), again his politics will be over because it took us 35 years to kill bhutto after his death (and still he is alive in one province).

The only option left with him was to put all the responsibility on courts.. and let the powerful manage those courts..

And yes, you are right that PMLN is not serious about Nawaz's health..... because..... they know he is not too unwell. However, as a prime minister, IK has to rely on the medical reports provided by our specialist healthcare facilities.. and these reports (whether they are based on someone else's blood samples) tell the story that Mian Sb is about to die anytime, whether you send these reports to Shaukat Khanum for a second opinion, or UK/ US. IK, being a human, has some form of fear naturally that what if these are true Mian Sb die!

Instead of compromising in court for a so called "middle ground" , Government lawyer should have told Lahore high court clearly to give verdict on merit of legality or illegality of Government's condition of indemnity bond. What joke is this that LHC wants GOP to compromise or find "Middle Ground" of an "undertaking" with a Convict?

The Convict stands to get political face saving while incumbent GOP made to compromise...lol...only can happen in Pakistan.

What this love-hate-love affair/ Scotholm Syndrome for Sharifs means in a few years time when IK takes all the difficult economic decisions to rebuild the economic foundations, the beloved Sharifs of Pakistan will getback to power to enjoy distributing the scraps of economic benefits to the people of Pakistan to rule for yet another decade while Imran Khan will never come back to power because of this exact political engineering being managed by Sharif's as if they still rule Pakistan with the help of Judiciary and bureaucracy.

Had I been the prime minister, I would have gone to the same court to get justice for 10,000 critically sick patients in pakistani jails. I would have provided them lawyers on government's expense. In case of a negative decision, I would have resigned and called all the relatives to gather in front of high and supreme courts until the same speedy justice wouldn't have been given to them.

And that's why I am not a PM.

yeah.. and that's why I am not surrounding prime minister.. and i am not in establishment too..

A common man belonging to 98% population group has nothing to do with these posts.

I used to think quite differently about Imran Khan, never thought that he would lose his battle in the final overs.

Noone is stopping prime minister to arrange that sort of a bail out for other detainees . All he's got to do is to instruct the advocate generals of their respective provinces to keep it mum in front of the judge like what he directed today
