I just don’t understands why PTI supporting a Lota (Amir Dogar) in this by election? What kind of new Pakistan is this? Amir Dogar’s family reputation is very bad in Multan. PTI if really believe in new kind of politics than it could ask his voters to sit homes and boycotted the election than supporting Amir Dogar’s like thug here. Even by ordinary standsrds Dogar can't be compared with Javed Hashmi......

PTI is doing the politics of electables that Bhutto started in 1977 elections. PTI should go back to 1970 where vote was cast on ideology not electables.

Both are bad candidates for me tbh really..Javed Hashmi is a bikao maal too..JH only had his bit of respect due to serving Jail during Mushi's era which he has Royally drained and wasted. So, ya i wanna see him loose either way, whether Amir Dogar wins or not.

Open Rigging in Multan Elections captured by TV Cameras & Implications. Many must have seen how ARY TV cameras captured this woman going inside the Polling Stations several times and was pushed out by people. Reporter then questions Police Constables, both Male Officers and Lady Police Officers and even the Presiding Officer who all admit that this woman has been going inside the Polling Station again and again (where she tells women voters whom to vote) and has been warned but she does not stop. What can we do?Police Officers pose the counter-question to our reporter.

So what does this tell us? Why Police is helpless? At how many places this must be going on at this moment and will keep on happening throughout the day? There are 286 Polling Stations across Multan, TV cameras, Election Monitors, Observers cannot reach everywhere. I always laugh when I hear the EU observers making this outlandish claim that Elections 2013 did not have massive rigging because they or their teams and partners did not see it. Ha Ha! Now look this is just one constituency, and has 286 Polling Stations, and even if all Pakistani media try they wont be able to cover with cameras all polling stations for 10 hours in one city. So what to talk of 70,000 Polling stations across 900,000 square kilometers of Pakistan?

If Police watches in helplessness sitting outside the Polling Stations then it also watches helplessly when votes are stamped by one polling agent or official in hundreds, when ballot boxes are stuffed, when Statements of Count (Form-14) are not issued, or issued on plain paper, or issued without signatures, without stamps, without CNIC of Presiding Officers and Police watches helplessly when Returning Officers create new Statements of Count on Official Forms which then become the basis for Form-17 and the final results.

This is what happens in Elections in a country where powerful elite control Police, District Administration and Presiding Officers from Education Department and other staff of Election Commission - I wonder What is Election Commission doing now? Will they at least explain why Police outside Polling Stations is unable to stop this rigging going on?

I support PTI but not Dogar who is a known extorter in Multan. He should lose so PTI and more so Imran learns a good lesson though I am not sure he still would. By supporting known criminals, IK is doing himself and his party no favor.

Come on man, you cant brush it aside just by declaring it local politics. Could Imran/PTI not extend their support for a cleaner and honest candidate? IK did the same in the general elections where 70% tickets were issued to dirty candidates and he keeps doing it. Yes, SMQ is his aide now but IK has no mind of his own?

The election at NA 149 is seriously turning out to be a sick joke. first the helicopter campaign which is being brushed under the carpet bcz the election law is vague about it. Pathetic to say the least.
Then the ink troubles and the names of voters being removed from the list. Seriously the way this election is being handled is a joke. Are we living in the 17th century here that we cant even do a single election properly. Extremely disappointing stuff from the election commissioner.

As for baghi ( he is exactly that. A traitor who is loyal to no one. Frankly a snake) well with all this crap i will be surprised if he loses. I think this election will come under severe scrutiny as well and i wont be surprised if recounting is done here as well after the elections.

PTI is only supporting Dogar against JH..start this doger hate when and IF dogar wins this and tries to get into PTI. I highly doubt PTI will take Dogar.

As for imrans candidate, i believe after the election results he needs to support stronger candidates irrespective of their back ground. You cant make it in pakistan shouting honest candidates and losing as the people are just not aware enought o vote for others. I know its wrong and it goes against PTI ideology but its the way things are done here. We are just not literate enough to free ourselves from the shackles of aristocracy and selling our votes. After the 2013 elections i said it then that next elections imran needs to support known candidates over unknown ones. He tried it in 2013 and failed thus the people are just not ready for this so he must back the older and more famous candidate.

People give votes to IK/PTI not to the candidates. If he supports cleaner candidates, people will give them vote but IK wont do it because he is surrounded with people like Sheikh Rasheed, SMQ, Aleem Khan etc. A leader educates his followers, groom them, and lead them to the destination. If IK cant do it, whats wrong with Nawaz and Zardari?

By approving each and every right or wrong move of IK, we are definitely not doing him and ourself any favor. I for one will never support a criminals only because IK has asked me to do so, and I am pretty sure there would be thousands of such PTI supporters who would prefer to stay home instead of casting vote for an extorter.

I sometimes wonder why good leaders don't come to us? What sin have we committed that Allah has left us alone like this?

Today, If Hashmi Loose, this political crisis will further linger on, Govt inefficiency and playing on back foot what shes doing since 14th August will further deepens.
Pakistan needs stability and for immediate only Hashmi win could consolidate it and PMLN govt could found its lost rythem otherwise........we all dooommed at least for another year.
