However, many of our military strategists in the PDF think MM military strength is just a myth. From the beginning only I was telling here that Myanmar is a hidden nuclear power..... now this missile program simply confirms why Myanmar now wants to have Ballistic missiles......

Ten years old report which later found to be hoax. They just brought some North Korean ballistic missile which may not be usable by now. That's why they are now acquiring SY-300 missile from China.A documentary shows how Myanmar is going ahead with producing ingenious missiles.

You seems to be happy about Myanmar's ''hidden nuclear power''. Do Indians wish more of it's neighbors acquiring nuclear bomb? Are not you already surrounded by Nuclear power China and Pakistan?Underestimating Myanmar is a biggest mistake a real analyzer will ever make.....
The strength of Myanmar that is seen on the paper or on defense forums is just a tip of an iceberg.....
I have this one issue with folks who claim that Myanmar has undertaken a nuclear weapons program and that is they use this same old video multiple times as a reference. This video has been shared like 100s of times now in 100s of websites.A documentary shows how Myanmar is going ahead with producing ingenious missiles.
Myanmar did not buy ballistic missiles. They brought missile parts.Ten years old report which later found to be hoax. They just brought some North Korean ballistic missile which may not be usable by now. That's why they are now acquiring SY-300 missile from China.

How do we know for sure MM reporting is a hoax. We should understand the first line of strategy to "Know your enemy". But, here we are imagining things and our military strategists remain complacent with buying a few packages of short and medium range missiles, and a few toy training planes.Ten years old report which later found to be hoax. I’m no nuclear physicist but the first thing you need before embarking in a nuclear weapons program is to have an experimental reactor and then build others for energy production, then you need centrifuges and source ore, largest source ore are found in Congo which supplied American nukes dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, remember all these ores are heavily regulated by IAEA, there’s no way they’ll be able to buy uranium ore or heavy waters, so they have to rely on domestic source. they’ll also need a heavy water processing plant which is impossible to set up for most given the tight regulations in sales of these machineries. How do we know for sure MM reporting is a hoax. With this kind of procurement we are dreaming to send 3,000km long range missiles to hit Delhi on the hope that India will start kowtowing us at that.
Thanks. But, it was not about nuclear weapons but about MM's long range missile procurement and building. However, MM may also have a hidden agenda for nuclear weapons with the help of North Korea, another rogue state whose leaders live in the 15th century world.I’m no nuclear physicist but the first thing you need before embarking in a nuclear weapons program is to have an experimental reactor and then build others for energy production, then you need centrifuges and source ore, largest source ore are found in Congo which supplied American nukes dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, remember all these ores are heavily regulated by IAEA, there’s no way they’ll be able to buy uranium ore or heavy waters, so they have to rely on domestic source. they’ll also need a heavy water processing plant which is impossible to set up for most given the tight regulations in sales of these machineries.
even if they manage to set up centrifuges, reactors and gather raw materials, this process alone would take more than 70 years to reach Iran’s capability... after they managed to enrich uranium 235 to 95% they’ll need to figure out the bomb part which is difficult goal in itself, they could go for the barrel config like the early soviet/ US weapons which would be easier than to device a plutonium based bomb... then they have to test it... unless they start to rely on computer models, even then they have to figure out delivery methods... for a country like myanmar is next to impossible to acquire the bomb in a timeframe where they can torpedo present vulnerable bd
They could probably get a scud as they’re far easier to source, houthis have em, but most probably the earlier versions which are very inaccurate over 1000mCEP if I remember correctlyThanks. But, it was not about nuclear weapons but about MM's long range missile procurement and building.

What are they going to do with the missile Sir? Use it as a dildo? Thanks. But, it was not about nuclear weapons but about MM's long range missile procurement and building. Producing nuclear weapon is easy tbh. Military science is much complicated now. Now we have space launched vehicles which can carry missiles that can be used to destroy satellites of other nations or attack from space. Also the Multiple independently re entry vehicle, which can hit multiple missiles in one go.I’m no nuclear physicist but the first thing you need before embarking in a nuclear weapons program is to have an experimental reactor and then build others for energy production, then you need centrifuges and source ore, largest source ore are found in Congo which supplied American nukes dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, remember all these ores are heavily regulated by IAEA, there’s no way they’ll be able to buy uranium ore or heavy waters, so they have to rely on domestic source. they’ll also need a heavy water processing plant which is impossible to set up for most given the tight regulations in sales of these machineries.

Also the video did not say anything about nuclear weapons but missile parts. Scud missiles, regardless of the missile range and the type of missile, is not costly. They could probably get a scud as they’re far easier to source, houthis have em, but most probably the earlier versions which are very inaccurate over 1000mCEP if I remember correctly

Nuclear weapon is a technology which dates back to 1945.

I understand Myanmar is a poor country but they have enough money to buy MRBMs like Rodong-1 which is a cheap but effective later version of the scud.
