If only we had good architects and civil engineers our country would be in better condition .

The problem with our country is that uneducated people are becoming too influential in our country for which day by day nuisance is increasing in our country.

For example, back in the 1970s and 1980s the students of DU and other universities actually possessed the characteristics of a educated person. Back in those days in Bangladesh you could easily identity whether a person is educated or not just by looking at their manners, ettiquette and mentality. However these days many students are educated because they just hold a mere certificate however the manner, ettiquette are not so different than a slum dweller. I study at a private university and some months ago a female friend of mine was teased by some junior students and when I protested they behaved with me like a slum dweller or bosti polapan.

You see our country has a good number of intellects and educated by people who are truly educated in all aspects however these people are living at the mercy of half educated and uneducated people of our society.

As education is made available to everybody regardless of their social status you will find a whole bunch of people pursuing higher education without the basic etiquette which is taught at home. It takes 3 generation to be a gentleman.

They are also similar. Run by corrupt, autocrat, dictators like those countries. Bangladesh is LDC to get extra benefit. Just imagine Bangladesh has higher GDP than Pakistan but still a LDC but Pakistan is not. So that doesn’t matter unless we continue to get special benefit out of it.
