Myanmar Military Junta is about to Collapse as all Separatist groups get united

. . .
Is the junta pro-west or anti-west? that's all that matters.

If it's pro-west this could turn out beneficial.
If it's anti-west this is more incompetence and they should annihilate the opposition.

Complicated.

Current Military Junta is anti West, pro Russian

The separatist movement could be helped by China as one of the ethnic group who fight the Junta is Chinese.

If junta can be defeated, then more likely democracy will be restored due to the support of Aung San Sukyi party under this unity, all regions with significant minority will get autonomy, more likely Federalism system will be applied.

If that is the case, Myanmar will likely be pro West and pro China as well. Not every thing can be seen by using pro West and anti West perspective

If you split hairs it could be. China doesn't want to shoot itself in the foot. Russia is sussy though, a mixed bag.

You may be mistaken on one point.

Myanmar is bound to be pro-Chinese and anti-American regardless of which faction is in power. Burmese politicians may be pro-US when they are not in power, but they are bound to be pro-Chinese and anti-US when they are in power.

China supported the Kokang Allied Forces to overthrow the current military junta because the junta was harbouring telecom fraudsters. This military government is also pro-Chinese and anti-American.

US has zero influence in Myamar, talking about US in Myamar is irrelevant.

The main ethnic group in Myanmar is the Burmese, which was originally the White Wolf Qiang in China.

In the seventh century A.D., the White Wolf Qiang were expelled from China and they fled to Burma. The White Wolf Qiang became the new dominant ethnic group in Myanmar after they exterminated the local Mon aborigines.

Those Han armies and minority vassal armies that went after the White Wolf Qiangs stayed in northern Burma and became many independent lordship forces.

That's why these ethnic autonomous states in northern Burma have been close to China and detested the ethnic Burmese regime for millennia. They are actually all from China.

This isn't good at all.
More civil war means more chances for the westerners to be more involved.

LOL how come ? Aung San Sukyi is supported by Western nations, including USA. The current militay regime is sanctioned by USA and his allies.

The renegade political party is among this unity shadow government. The reason of Myanmar military regime get huge set back is because of the unity of several armed group combined with Su Kyi party that is supported by the people

Myanmar has huge defense budget, particularly in the early 2000. Unlikely to get rid the military regime if there is no strong support from the majority ethnic that support Su Kyi.

Actually Myanmar aspiration is Indonesia, it is why the do similar transformation like Indonesia where during the first 5 years period of our democracy it is still hibryd government where Armed Force still have significant seats in parliament.

Su Kyi is about to visit Indonesia after he wins, but due to Indonesian people resenment over Rohingya case, she abandon the plan since there will be demonstration in Indonesia if she comes. The Rohingya expelsion I believe is orchestrated by Army, not her.

If the current military junta is anti-China by harboring telecom fraudsters, how can the military gov is pro-Chinese at the same time ?

Correction: when Aung San Suu Kyi was not in power she was supported by the West. After she came to power, the West quickly changed its attitude and imposed sanctions on Aung San Suu Kyi. After the military junta overthrew Aung San Suu Kyi's government, the West returned to support her. But Aung San Suu Kyi's key aide, U, is now in China.

This is because Myanmar's Min Aung Hlaing junta thought that the Chinese government just like the US government, would not care about its nationals being defrauded by telecoms,

Min Aung Hlaing clearly misjudged that the Chinese Government would not tolerate large-scale telecommunication fraud in Chinese-speaking circles.

The sanction is due to Rohingya case

The West is actually supporting the Karen National Union (KNU) of the Karen ethnic group, which is an autonomous Christian state in southern Burma, and the KNU is equally hostile to the ethnic Burmese regime.

The hatred between the ethnic Burmese and the Rohingya is so deep-rooted that any government in Myanmar will take a forceful attitude towards the Rohingya in order to get the support of the ethnic Burmese, and in fact Aung San Suu Kyi is not in a position to make a choice.

The West actually knows that Aung San Suu Kyi is not capable of making a choice, and they don't care. Regardless of whether the West supports or sanctions Aung San Suu Kyi, the West's aim is to find reasons to strike at the power of the Burmese ethnic central government and support the Karen National Union's independence movement.
