I find in times like these the solace is that what has happened is Allah's will and we are slaves to his will. Ultimately if we do right in this life, we will complete our journey and meet our loved ones in our ultimate destination too.
Very wise and beautiful words brother. Indeed life is temporary and I and many others look forward to our reunions in the next world.
Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
May Allah forgive all his sins and grant him high ranks in Jannah. Ameen.
May Allah also give you all, the family, sabar during these testing times.
Thank you brother for your wonderful prayer and thoughts.
I am not one to show emotions despite deeply hurt.
My sage like younger brother passed away two months ago. He was nearest to me.
There is not a day passes that I do not remember him and cry.
I never disclosed it on the forum before but because today @waz has disclosed the news of his Uncle passing away, I am encouraged by it, to share my massive loss. I am saddened for his loss too.
My life is not the same, and will never be the same again.
I am fulfilling my responsibilities towards his family and children. May Allah SWT gives me strength and resolve to see it through until my last days.
I know my little brother, you are watching me.
I am very sorry, what a tragic story and loss for you. Likewise brother I feel the same i.e. my life onwards won't be the same, the gap he left was too great. I shall pray for your brother and I am glad you have stepped forward to help his children. Thank you for having the courage to come forward, I also thought for a while before I put this up, but the prayers and condolences have been more than worth it.

Thank you so much my brother.
Just a few things about the man;
1. He was raised here in the UK.
2. He was a keen weight lifter and amateur boxer (heavyweight) in his time.
3. His death was not only mourned by his family and community, but by the wider community. I will never forget his British White neighbours crying and saying goodbye, when we took his body out.
4. He loved helping all and everyone, creed, colour, race, it meant nothing if someone was in need. It could be as simple as buying a person who was struggling their lunch, to helping people in complex legal matters. His charitable hand was never ending.
5. He was immensely funny and had a smile always, many remember him as the joker, this was across the board from his work mates to his family.
6. He was known to be able to break barriers i.e. someone who had a beard but was just one of the lads. Many non-Muslim folk loved this about him.
6. His favourite show was Miami Vice, something I watched episode to episode with him in the 80's.
A tribute to him;
