Well, it's a pretty little thing that shows you flag of the country where the webpage is hosted. I find it interesting.

Besides, it's a useful tool as well.

You wouldn't want to be careless while entering your personal details on a webpage located somewhere in the cyber badlands, you know.

Actually I juust thought if I could help make someody's browsing experience better and by trying out a few add-ons that other would list, it'll make my experience better too. BTW, if you didn't notice, the post was never about firefox but about firefox add-ons.

Well, it blocks Java scripts on webpages, completely.

It will even blocks flash videos, flash ads etc. pretty much all the frills in a webpage...unless you explicitly allow the stuff on that page.

Why don't you set your windows to 'best for performance'. That should make some difference to your PC.

Also, try CCleaner. It's a nifty little program that cleans up unnecessary cookies etc. on the PC.

What's WOT and ANT" WOT is WEB OF TRUST, kind of rating and parental control.Using it u get a Red, yellow or green symbol besides google serches or on top of webpages.Red marked sites are known malicious.You will be warned like a traffic cop before entering one. It even prevents Red marked sites to be opened by clickjacking. Yellow and Green means mediocre and good respectively. I find WOT very useful.ANT is the video downloader I use. I also use flagfox.

Not much i think sir..i too have a laptop and using that Oskar theme for an year, never had any slow downs/freeze due to it. Just as Captain said, use CCleaner and clean up the browsing cache once in a while may improve your net speed.
