If I wanted to make a claim that in India men with mustaches and side burns were heavily discriminated against I could weed through newspapers and fill a wall of text on all the incidents that take place where men with mustaches and side burns were victims and build a really good narrative around it. India is a poor, badly policed society. There are plenty of horror stories to go around.i could write a wall of links on all the harassment Bihari Hindus face - is that religious discrimination? Do biharis practice a different form of religion to telungus? Same-same for the most part is it not? But culturally different.

Here we are speaking about the indifference of Government at helping the citizens to get back to where they initially belonged and if that is not possible, atleast provide them with adequate facilities. Its not just Bihari Hindus who face discrimination but Bihari muslims also face the same kind of discrimination in fact in higher proportions.

Prove to me that Sikhs, Jains, christians, Jews, Parsis, Bohras, etc do worse on average than majority community. Or indeed any religious minority other than North Indian Muslims. If you google you'll find South Indian Muslims are doing just fine.

The thread speaks about Gujarati muslims who still languish in slums. And they don't live their out of choice but are forced to. So understand that and don't get into this whataboutery...

You give them a free pass - it surely cannot, must not, will not, can never ever ever be their own fault. You agree that government in India is indifferent, callous and inefficient to all its unfortunate citizens but feel that their callousness to Muslims is some kind of special callousness different to their callousness to Hindus or parsis.

Dude nothing more to say here - all the whining and bluster in the world will not help. What will help is when these societies spend more time and effort on educating and smaller families and networking with the larger community to make use of the benefits available to all Indian citizens of all religions and less on whining.

You want freebies and special treatment for them and an eternal whiny begging drain on taxpayers . I want them to succeed on their own merits. Which they can, if people like you stop making escuses.

Oh so you don't want to discuss or speak of the discrimination faced by Gujarati muslims(As the thread was about them). Great way to escape. A few quotes from news articles(I hope you won't skip them as you've been doing) that will clarify why north Indian muslims aren't well off compared to their South Indian counterparts.

What fcuking freebies have you been giving to Indian muslims which other Indians aren't given? What freaking special treatment are we getting? People can only succeed with certain support and Indian muslims are no exception.
