Spot on about the ghetto stuff you describing. There are parallels worldwide with every non-homogeneous country that is honest and practical with itself (after first setting the highest ideals as the guiding principle that should be aspired to).

Lot here are too used to living as a "95%" purity state. Why do you think they can cringey fake-virtue signal here about being "open" to other views while studiously making sure it stays an echo chamber (on the most important conversations of note) just the same?

They don't understand the fundamental dynamic that changes when you are just 13%...and split...and history of the 95% one being broken by same malaun pagan hotch-potch army (led by one of yours) quite rudely and suddenly....because of their own split/fissure they imposed in interest of some be-all end-all absolute purity notion.

It is why they remain and forever will remain a military with a country and not the other way around....other way around means too many disturbing skeletons start to tumble out of recesses.

The world actually has lot of lessons back then and increasingly now about X muslim vs Y muslim as they try to rally as some total monolith and never learn from their mistakes of pursuing this course of action. This happens increasingly as they are left behind and they become more and more quaint to everyone else.

When you talk to a reasonable+well-read Turk, Arab or Persian....and bring up Pakistan and what happened to its eastern wing (and thus the whole question of the lingering reality of muslims in general in south asia)....you get lot of interesting answers. Their analysis of Pakistan and Pakistanis is quite interesting to say the least (given how many Pakistanis keep looking to them for whatever reference point and forking out whatever it takes to do so). I'll leave it at that.

So yes a 95% psyche that has the buffer to invent whatever fantasy of context/history/culture it (or at least the controllers) desires to.... would not know very well the ground reality of a 13% one that must live in the lowest denominator of utter cold reality today....as one would have it in a secular country for everyone as far as possible (and groups of all stripes simply organise practically below it).

But of course religion must 100% connect in some portal fashion today and triumphs it all because some ppl here said so. Then they loose their minds elsewhere as time passes and further dissonance with reality accrues.

I do not meet any Muslim in India today who does not believe that education is the road to success, and this has been the norm since the last 20 years. Factors that are beyond the scope of this discussion hold them behind, but the intent is there.

How would they carve out a new one in India without support of Pakistan?

After all we helped East Pakistan to become Bangladesh. But it took nine months of struggle in which nine million Bengali refugees came to India.

If Indian Muslims going carve out a new, the struggle will take sometime. In those period of struggle many millions Indian Muslims from neighborhood state Gujarat and Rastaban will certainly seek refugee in Pakistan.

I ask to all Pakistanis, if India can give shelter to nine million Bengalis during 1971 war of independence, why can't Pakistan show simillar gesture for their Muslim brothers in India and provide them refugee till they able get freedom from India?

Such discussions are great for understanding your past and present, but are meaningless when understanding the functioning of a society.

I prefer that we understand our societies and/or countries on the fair and just laws that govern them and enforcement of those laws, not just the selective enforcement of the same.
