According to Saudi Alim and member of Majils-e-Shura Khatim Sharif has stated that there is no harm in wishing "Merry Christmas" to Christians or greet other non-Muslims for their festive days.

I was unaware that Muslims in Saudi were not allowed to greet people belonging to other religions....at least in India, we greet each other and we do enjoy public holidays on eve of major religious feast/events like eid, moharam, chirstmas, guru nanak jayanti, parsi new year, diwali, holi, ganapati etc.....Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...
