Muslim countries should consider making a muslim UN of OIC countries, maybe including som friendly non muslim countries also.

Current UN where 4 christian countries have veto power dont represent OIC countries.
The opposite wouldnt have been possible, to ask these 4 countries to join a UN where for instance Pakistan, Turkey, Iran and Saudi Arabia had veto power so dont understand what OIC countries are doing in UN.

Disadvantage with current UN is that a number of countries there are aggressively spreading Islamophobia and hate towards muslim worldwide.

Cant see benefits with of been member of UN for OIC countries as their problems never gets addresses and they a number of other countries spread false rumors and hate about OIC countries.

The UN can exist as it does the job it was designed for sufficiently (and obviously the victors of WWII get preferential treatment). If Muslim countries want to be heard they can empower the OIC (or some new org like that) just like the EU countries did.

Instead of starting with military alliances, we should focus on economic cooperation and such, because that is where things matter more. Cooperate to develop a solid economic and industrial power than move on to other things. Like the Chinese are doing. Without a solid economic and (technologically competitive) industrial base, a war cannot be fought, neither militarily nor otherwise.

A 27 trillion dollar GDP is nothing to scoff at - and should get a voice that is heard. It is greater than the GDP of US or China or the EU. If Muslim countries had more economic cooperation, there would be more likelihood for further cooperation in other fields. It would also reduce chances of petty fights that escalate to proxy wars etc because each country would find it's interests tied to the other. It is because of the economic cooperation between the EU countries that is making Brexit such a hard thing.

Agreed.

The thing which matters most is technological advancement which is impossible without strong economic muscle. We should try to implement an EU model, that is the best solution in current scenario.

You have summed it up nicely.

Erdogan is the only Muslim leader who has the guts to speak up and take a stand, leaders belonging to other nations are puppets of the USA.

Good idea they should call it Muslim United Nation Association or MUNA. They should add new nations every year, who should first join New Association of Nation and Alliance NANNA. Countries first have to join Nanna and then Muna. There should also be an association which will feed its member , Association of Malnutrition Alliance. MUNNA and NANNA if have famine should go to AMA. In case of war they should Association of Border and Arrangements ABA. ABA will have the final say in any dispute between the MUNA and NANNA.

To stay in a organization where 4 countries from opposite faith have veto power is a blunder for OIC countries. Either 4 OIC countries also gets veto power or nobody have it. Else leave this organization.

Since when was religion a big bias factor in rationale politics?

OIC is already there and has done jackshit about the muslim world's internal politics. It has infact exacerbated the problems between the major powers by playing second fiddle to western, arab and more recently hindu interests.

Add to the confusion added by ISIS. So many idealists joined or attempted to join it. Then there were folks who were absolutely disgusting. Perhaps even agents of Mossad.

A UN type organization of Muslim countries is indeed welcome. But that needs to cut across political lines. A resurgence of the Khilafat can help - in the true sense and not the Ottoman style hereditary one.

One thing is clear - and let me mention this clearly. DON'T expect any assistance from non Muslims in this regard. Everybody will have their own narrow interests. We should take care of our own OURSELVES.

There is a hope if Turkey creates the Khilafat again. That will practically dissolve all these opportunistic OIC and other Arab Leagues etc. It will have its faults but we should work together to improve it.

And yes, expect the Western and the Eastern world (all non Muslim world) to cry saying that this is ISIS 2.0 and all. Turkey shows hope.

Turkey, Iran, and Pakistan desperately need to create a defense pact. This will bring much added peace and security to our region and allow us to shift our focus from internal divisions.

Sometime in the future when KSA stops trying to antagonize Iran and inevitable fallout with US occurs, they can join as well.

We do need unity than anything else. We are technologically quite good.
With unity comes economy . Somebody suggested an EU model , whijc I agree with .
We are still divided in "nations " while we are one ummah
Oic- I don't know if there are any non mislim countries are in there .If there are , then it's funny

For an organization like UN for Muslim first get all these nation on same page. U really think IRAN SAUDIA QATTAR EGYPT and Turkey will sit together and play nice. OIC is good for nothing they have done nothing. And let be serious ISREAL has better chances to get a veto vote status then any other Muslim country. If Saudia gets this status there first order of business would be to anilate Iran.
Guys let's be serious we Muslim ummah is good at nothing. The rich nations are spending billions on arms which they would never use and poor are dying with femine or the wars inflicted on them by the nations they called Muslim brothers. So let face it there is no real implication of such organization. And most of the Middle East would happily recognize Isreal then to start such organization. They can't make their master angry.
