Even if the BJP comes to power with Modi heading the Government, he will not be a potentate. There will be enough coalition partners to keep him in check. In Pakistan, the elected political executive almost always plays second fiddle to the military which seems to have the final say on every important issue. You think the new elected Government will be able to cut down the involvement of the Army in domestic and foreign policy matters?
