Mumtaz Bhutto likely to join PML-N soon

KARACHI - Sindh National Front (SNF) Chairman Mumtaz Ali Bhutto might join the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) by the end of March or in April, sources told Pakistan Today on Sunday.
Mumtaz is expected to make the big move during a rally in front of the Bhuttos’ graveyard in Garhi Khuda Bux, Larkana.

PML-N leaders Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif will also speak at the rally.
Nawaz and Mumtaz have held numerous meetings in Karachi and Lahore.
It has been decided in principle that Mumtaz will join the PML-N, but it still has to be worked out as to what his position would be in the party.

The sources said Mumtaz is using his tribal ‘card’ by holding his rally in Garhi Khuda Bux. He has never held a public gathering there after the demise of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

The Bhutto family elders, who support Mumtaz, held a meeting to discuss this development.
However, a large faction of the Bhutto tribe does not like Mumtaz and his political stand.
The PML-N is eager to have Mumtaz on its side as he can give the Pakistan People’s Party a tough time in its home district.

The sources said Mumtaz wants his son Amir Bux Bhutto accommodated in the PML-N to secure his future in national politics.

For a long time, Mumtaz’s party, the Sindh National Front, has been unable to win even a single seat in the National or provincial assemblies.

Political observers believe that Mumtaz is a major political name, but has little influence over the voters of his area.

Now, This is really a serious development...A strategic incursion by PMLN in rural Sindh.

Don't tells me what MB vote bank is? bcz this inclusion of MB is different as its more on the hate of Zardari than love for NS and that's the main reason why i consider it a serious development bcz Individuals, Institutions, people strives great when they actually in competition with thier sworn enemy.

This is may be the first time as well where a renowened Sindhi nationlist joining a Punjab based PMLN, that will make lot easier for Mehars, Shirazis, Chandios etc, the traditional Anti PPP to follow suit, hopefully we are in the process of grand alliance against PPP in rural Sindh after that fatefull inclusion...Intresting times ahead...!!
