Mullah Omar's EID messege

so the most wanted men on the planet can freely communicate with media without being discovered?

That must be better encryption than what the super computers of CIA can ever do...
Yes looks like they have the faster computers than the US do.The US can't track their IP address or their port of usage...

.
exactly my point.....
it is suspicious to me how the news people get hold of messages from the most wanted men on planet....

The White House, Pentagon, maybe CIA too, Pakistan's Government and ISI all have got links with them. Links in communication. For talks, It happens on routine basis. That's how we try to stop them. Thats how we try to have peace talks with them. Though I am not a fan of the media myself, infact hate them cause they dunno how to operate and are working to defame and demoralize Pakistanis, the article clearly said this was updated of the website of Taliban.

He wants them to kill Pakistani civilians instead!

This isn’t the first time that Taliban’s leader Mullah Omar has released a statement asking his militant group to stop attacking civilians. Unfortunately, these statements contradict reality. Back at the onset of spring, he issued a similar statement asking for his terrorist group to avoid civilian casualties. While the entire world anxiously waited to witness him and his followers follow through on these promises, their hope for safety was bitterly crushed with more suicide attacks on Afghan civilians.

Through his statement, he reveals his militants’ financial and military failures. By addressing the creation of the local and government-backed police force in his statement, he acknowledges that these institutions have added another layer of complication for Taliban terrorist operations. He also asks people to support the Taliban insurgency in the fight against Afghan and international security forces. The change in his tone is due to the fact that they have lost support among Afghans throughout the country. We witnessed local populations standing up against the Taliban in Helmand, Kandahar, Nangarhar and Ghazni provinces, where Taliban fighters were beaten to death by local residents.

Unfortunately Mullah Omar did not forget the usual preaching of his violent ideology, which from the group’s inception has been to give out unjustified death sentences for every action against them. He once again warned Afghans to face their judgment, if caught helping the Afghan government. In the past ten years, Afghanistan has made remarkable progress in the field of education. Afghans are more aware of their choices today than they were ten years ago. This phenomenon within the Afghan society has frightened the Taliban and their leaders; therefore, they chose to change their messaging by making false promises. They promised that they will investigate the massacre at the Kabul bank, but unfortunately, they never responded to the families of the victims and the Afghan people with the result of their investigation.

Just a day after his statement, a suicide attack killed seven and wounded 15 innocent civilians in Baghlan province, killing innocent Afghan Muslims who were coming out of the mosque after the Eid prayers. How does Mullah Omar justify the murder of 8 civilians killed today in Badghis province by Taliban’s bomb?

Principles are what you fight for. For most of us at PDF that refers to what we write. But the mullahs out there who command followers must be judged by what they do. As Omar's followers make a point of terrorizing and killing civilians, that is one of his principles; what he says counts as deception.

''As Omar's followers make a point of terrorizing and killing civilians''

Ermmm so what point do US army and NATO forces are making in Afghanistan? I just saw a clip recently leaked where marines killed a sheep with a baseball bat to ''celebrate'' eid-ul-azha,Using bait techniques to kill civilians in Iraq? What point are your forces trying to make? Talk senses.Probably these are the reasons i dont feel sorry for your dead soldiers.P.S Afghani Taliban are much better and hold more values than you people do.

You can hardly say that americans have more principles than taleban. You and your lot are invaders. I would like to see how many americans for their priciples will wear pyjamas and with just rifles mayb ak47s and rpg take on F16s and stealth bombers and heavily armed troops drones etc

No we became invaders after 9/11. Not before. That be like saying Japan is calling Americans invaders after Pearl Harbor. Mullah Omar and his men who refused to hand over Osama and closed down camps is paying the price. Along with the Afghan people. How do you think the Japanese felt?

KABUL: Human rights group Amnesty International said on Wednesday that Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Omar’s call for fighters to reduce civilian casualties was “hypocritical”.

Amnesty said the statement issued in Omar’s name last week to mark the Muslim holiday of Eidul Azha was “more about propaganda and less about actually protecting civilians”.

There were two major attacks in Afghanistan during Eid, which were blamed on the Taliban and left many civilians dead.

The United Nations says the Taliban is responsible for the vast majority of civilian deaths in the ten-year Afghan war between Taliban-led insurgents and international and Afghan government forces.

“The Afghan people would welcome any genuine effort to reduce civilian casualties,” said Sam Zarifi, Amnesty International’s Asia Pacific director, in a statement issued on the organisation’s website.

“However, Mullah Omar’s message seems hypocritical, as it is more about propaganda and less about actually protecting civilians.

He suggests that the majority of civilian casualties are accidental and could be avoided if Afghans kept away from foreign troops.

“He doesn’t order his commanders to halt targeted assassinations, or stop using suicide bombers or improvised explosive devices in civilian areas.”

On Friday, the Taliban published a statement on their website attributed to Omar which called on fighters “to take every step to protect the lives and wealth of ordinary people”.

The statement warned of punishments under Islamic Sharia law for insurgents responsible for civilian deaths.

But on Sunday, a Taliban suicide bomber killed seven people returning from prayers at a mosque in the northern city of Baghlan.

And on Monday, nine civilians from one family plus two policemen were killed when a roadside bomb struck their vehicle in northwest Afghanistan.

The UN has said that the number of civilians killed in the Afghan war in the first half of this year rose 15 per cent to 1,462, with insurgents responsible for 80 per cent of the deaths.
