As CJ and General are in KHI MQM shuts down the whole city as usual within minutes.
Is it a message for them that they give the damn to all of them?

Or is it a move to regain (lost) reputation from Shia Community? However only 17 funeral prayers were performed. Who were the remaining 25? Sunnis? Why were they not mentioned?

Despite a fresh arrest of MQM target killers from Shah Faisla Colony, who killed clerics a few days back, MQM doesn't seem to be in pressure. What is this?

It seemed like there would be a grand operation soon in Karachi and almost all of the people I met today were ready to stay home and give up business activities even for a week for the sake of peace.

how many times karachi need to suffer from this so called 'grand' operation??

two times already karachi has suffered such operation and everybody can tell what happened to karachi, utter destruction, you will send karachi back thousands of years if you do any operation

operation needs to be done in the low lying areas of the city where there are banned outfits doing notorious jobs

they cant do operation in a small city like quetta but they are all ready to do 'grand' operation in karachi

first of all there wont be any operation since it will delay the elections

second, karachi needs to have active rangers and police role, seems like they arnt performing their jobs well,

why are 11,000 rangers stationed in karachi if they cant do their work?

as it also turns out that rangers have been given all the authorities of the police, as people doubted earlier that rangers is helpless, no authority, why cant rangers do their jobs

thirdly, when MQM was saying that TTP is invading karachi nobody listened, no since TTP is killing polio workers in karachi, taking extortion money and doing suicide blasts now everybody have woken up suddenly

As if generals give a damn to these people! MQM is doing all this in frustration, leadership at lower level is not happy with coordination committees plus there are differences between committee in London and committee in Karachi, lack of coordination is clearly evident.

There will be no grand operation in Karachi before the formation of the next government - operation in Karachi means postponement of the elections & politicos are not that generous.

Yeah, almost half of the deceased ones were Sunnis.

What a silly call for indefinite call, they should have realized earlier about the fallout of this call. Millions in this city not only feed themselves on daily wages but also feed whole country one way or the other and MQM being dominant party must realize this. Unfortunately these days at an average city is experiencing one strike per week.

What the **** TTP is? There are armed wings in all the parties in Karachi. MQM is the most famous among all of them. Why the hell would TTP plant a bomb where it would hit more sunnis than Shias? Couldn't they do it in an Imam Bargah where all the Shias would have been targeted. This is definitely a part of a very big conspiracy by foreign agencies. It has been proved that some of the parties in Karachi are being supported by RAW and other agencies. It like Rehman Malik, the worst IM in the history of Pakistan, who when finds no way or no one, blames TTP.

never do we see such a situation in KP,BALOCHISTAN or PUNJAB no matter what happens! TTP and MQM are destroying this nation!
