MQM Pakistan Chief Advises Supporters to Remain Calm

KARACHI: Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain, Monday called upon party leaders, workers and supporters to remain calm and peaceful and exercise restraint despite provocative statements uttered by a politician.
Altaf Hussain has advised party workers to control their sentiments and remain calm on a statements of a political leader, says a statement issued by MQM here.
He also called upon MQM's workers to end peaceful protest demonstrations in this connection and also remove the wall-chalking against that political leader.
He further advised leaders, elected representatives and workers of the MQM, to respond to the statements of that leader in a polite manner.
Altaf Hussain noted that he is well aware of the feelings and anger of the workers and the people.
However, they should keep their sentiments under control and by their deeds show to the world that we are peaceful and steadfast people.●
