Reference Lahore Notebook of May 3 by Rahim Shaikh. The MQM has arrived in the Punjab with its hands wet with the blood of their benefactors - the Sindhis, wearing hand gloves. Sindh is the only province, to which they were consigned from Wagah. They were not allowed to get down on the soil of the Punjab. Only those who were the employees of Central government i.e. Railways etc. in the united India were allowed in the Punjab, NWFP and Balochistan. Their leader Liaqat Ali Khan,1st Prime Minister of Pakistan reserved all government jobs for them at the center as well as in the provinces - from the highest to the lowest - and those for (so-called mohajirs) appointed as the heads of department kept those jobs reserved for the incoming mohajirs till 1956, when the flow from across the borders slowed down (it never ended and is still going on). All this was done on the pretext that the Bengalis, Punjabis, Pathans, Balochs and Sindhis were un-educated and they, being from UP, CP and Bihar were the most enlightened to run the new state. The proof is that not even a peon was appointed in the State Bank of Pakistan, National Bank of Pakistan. These banks were manned from the people of Hyderabad, Deccan, for which they pretended to have an efficient banking system, which is false. Luckily, my above claim has been substantiated by many prominent personalities. Zerak Raziuddin, a mohajir from Hyderabad Deccan, says that the Indian occupation of Hyderabad, Deccan, was a little unhappy incident but they were passing a happy life there and did not feel the need for migrating to Pakistan. Her husband Raziuddin was a very senior officer in the Indian Army. In the beginning he was displeased at the Indian occupation and kept away from his army duty, but within a few days General Chaudhry called him to come and take charge of his post. She further describes, with no hurdle in the way, the family eventually left Hyderabad for Karachi. On reaching there he made a telephone call to Zahid Hussain, who was the then governor of State Bank of Pakistan. The next day he received his appointment letter for post in the bank. Of course, she has not described the designation on which he was appointed. I know of another incident. A friend of mine was a qualified Engineer. He applied for a post in a department, the head of which was a mohajir. The employer did not conceal his partisanship and told the man that although he was fit for the job, he would have to wait for about six months, because he has kept the post vacant for a relative/friend of his, who is expected to come from India. If he didnt turn up, he would get the job. It was Zulfikar Ali Bhutto who broke their monopoly and gave jobs to the Punjabis, Balochs, Pathans and Sindhis. All the evacuee properties - urban and rural (including agricultural lands) - were allotted to them at the time of partition and later they were given those properties as per their claims. Most of them claimed that they had left poodine ke bagh in India and they got fertile lands here, mostly in Sindh, which they sold out and shifted to Karachi, Hyderabad and other cities. These people were fake claimants and after getting the loot money they left the area. They also exploited the neighbouring Sindhi zamindars, who again, being the real zamindars, wanted to maximize their landed area (and their rule). They created a competition among the neighbouring zamindars, by a whispering campaign telling the zamindar on the left that the zamindar on the right had offered, for example Rs.100 per acre and again telling the zamindar on right that the one on the left had offered him Rs.150 per acre and so on. It will not be out of context to mention that in the Punjab, one, Sir Chhotu Ram had got a bill passed from the assembly, before partition, that all the transactions of sale/mortgage of properties/agricultural lands, in favour of Hindus/Sikhs but belonging to Muslims, after a certain date would be null and void. as such the properties of native Muslims were saved from passing into the hands of the poodine ke bagh claimants. Whereas in Sindh, when such a proposal was made to Mr. Jinnah, he declined, saying: We have to provide for those who will come from India. After partition, land reforms were carried out in the East Pakistan (then East Bengal), whereas no such reforms were allowed to be undertaken in all the provinces of West Pakistan. They tried to expel the Punjabis, Pathans, Baloch and Sindhis from Karachi, in which they partly succeeded, after bloodbath. Altaf Hussain is on record to have advised his followers to sell Tvs/VCRs and buy arms. Again about a year back, he advised them to purchase arms. Unfortunately, Pathan smugglers supplied them arms. They set up torture cells in the streets of Karachi and Hyderabad. Their notorious torture cells were located in the Al Karam Square in Liaqatabad, Karachi. Dead bodies in the gunny bags were a common feature of their heinous crimes. They cut the breasts of Sindhi women in Hyderabad, drove them out of homes, where they were living since centuries. They had to leave their hearths and homes to settle in a colony called Sehrish Nagar, outside Hyderabad city, on the brink of Indus River between Hussainabad and Kotri. This colony still exists and can be visited. The massacre of Pathans in the Qasba colony at their hands is also a well known history. They also tried their hands in the Baloch area. Even at present, thousands of their workers availed the NRO. Apparently, Altaf opposed NRO and claimed that he and his workers would face the cases in courts. This was not because they were innocent, but because he knew that the evidences against him and his workers have been destroyed by their ministers/advisors in the Sindh Government. Aftab Shaikh was Home Advisor in PML (Q) Arbab Government, with the blessings of Musharraf and Ch. Shujaat. They visited each and every police station and destroyed the files. They joined practically all the governments with all the parties and obtained the portfolio of Home in Sindh, by dictating their terms for supporting the ruling parties, having control over the police and investigating agencies and thereby destroying the records. They also killed the police officers, investigation officers and witnesses. As such the police cant take any stand against them. And the witnesses are also terrorized. The notorious events of 12th May, 2007, and 9th March, (in which some advocates were burnt alive in the lawyers building, opposite city courts on M.A. Jinnah Road, Karachi) took place under Wasim Akhtar. They take the plea that all cases against Altaf and his workers were false. But what about the murder of Azeem Tariq, an office-bearer of his organisation? Evidently all cases cant be false. There must be an iota of truth in some cases. With all these atrocities against the Sindhis, they have proved that they deserved all that, at the hands of Sikhs and Hindus after partition, as the Jews too are proving that they deserved all that, at the hands of Nazis, with the atrocities they are committing against the Palestinians. They were not only with the feudals of PML(Q) or PPP but with the PML (N) also, with Jam Sadiq Ali, as the Chief Minister, who was originally a PPP man, but hired by Zia ul Haq to form a coalition with PML (N) against PPP. Frankly speaking they are the Jews of Pakistan. They had control over the print media through daily Jang & Anjam of Karachi and later on they gained control over the electronic media through terrorising them. At one stage Jang tried to slip out of their hands, they agitated against it and obstructed its distribution throughout Sindh. Jang had to surrender. I think you are aware that the Jews have control over the print and electronic media of the US and Europe. They entered Pakistan, particulary Sindh, with the same intentions as Jews entered Palestine, as their promised land and their destination is separation of Karachi, under whatever name they call. As a preparation, they have barred the admission of students from the interior of Sindh into colleges and Karachi University, with the help of Musharraf. They have never tried to own and absorb themselves into the soil of Sindh and never raised any voice for Sindh. They were Mohajirs on 14th August, 1947, started Mohajir movement as APMSO (All Pakistan Mohajir Students Organisation) in 1977 in Karachi University, formed Mohajir quomi movement in 1984 to counter PPP under the patronage of Zia ul Haq, disguised as Muttahida Quomi Movement later (patronised by Musharraf, a Mohajir from Delhi), but they are still Mohajirs in their mindset and never think beyond Mohajir interest. Their student wing still maintains the name as APMSO, which still has not become Muttahida) They shed tears over the army action against them in June 1992. This was not because they were Mazloom, but because they exceeded the mandate given to them by the army, whom they were supporting. They killed Major Aamir and some other army officers. Thats why army had to take action against them. Later, they reconciled with the army. Major Imtiaz is a hired man to give them the certificate of innocence. They are supporting the Seraiki province, because they see fulfilment of their dream of separate karachi. Now that they have conquered Sindh through terror, amassing funds through bhattas they are heading towards the Punjab, with the slogans of apprehending the thieves and looters, selling out the palaces of the Chaudhris and pay off the national and international debts etc. They always run with hares and hunt with the hounds in the Mohajir interest. They have no principle. If Musharraf succeeds in coming, MQM will be the fires to join him or even if Nawaz Sharif comes, they will join him. They cant afford to sit in opposition now. This is their considered policy for the future. Due to their terror and extortion methods, their people have become so sick of them that if any one guarantees them the safety of life in elections, results will be quite different. Some of the methods of terror and extortion are: Their goondas distribute receipts for Fitrah during Ramazan and threaten the people with consequences, if they are denied; Their goondas distribute parchis for collection of hides and skins on Eidul Azha. There are instances where if any one wavers to oblige them, their people shoot down the animal then and there and the other people, being terrorised, have no option except to oblige them. Taking bhata from industrialists, businessmen and shopkeepers is the normal sources of funding; Taking money from the contractors on the works in the City District Governments of Karachi and Hyderabad; In elections: their goondas collect original ID cards from the voters and ask them to come to the polling stations and return the cards after getting votes cast by them. How they have achieved this position of bargaining and blackmailing, is not being questioned by any one. Even today, when target killings are on in Karachi, they want their pound of flesh. They accuse ANP and Hazara province backers for the killings and claim themselves to be innocent and the victims. Their stand is that the PPP government should include the Hazara province backers in the talks, although the government coalition consists of PPP, MQM, ANP and PML(F). ANP claims that Hazara province backers may have some differences with them on that issue, but they are not against ANP and ANP represents them too. By including the Hazara backers in the talks, the PPP would automatically recognise the claim for Hazara province and resultantly the Karachi province.
