It is no secret that Afghans are treated like dogs in Iran. The Iranians fully understand the nature of Afghans. They put the Afghans in their place. The Iranians have repatriated many of them. On the other hand, Pakistan is naive. Our PM has proved it today.

The Usual Stuff - Jobs

According to the United Nations Commision on Human Rights, there are 950,000 Afghans in Iran but there are millions of illegal immigrants too and when migrants enter a country, they try to get jobs. And when these migrants get jobs, less natives will get jobs. Sometimes, migrants work for less money than natives to do so they might be hired because of financial reasons.

Crime

Along with the 950K Afghan migrants, some criminals managed to get in with them and those criminals are killers, thieves, drug dealers or terrorists. Obviously Iranians won't be fine with this, they'd rather all of them go back than all of them stay.

Perhaps Afghanistan should look at the Iran's treatment vs Pakistan's treatment before bad mouthing Pakistan?
I still see more anti-Pakistan rhetoric from Afghans than anti-Iran rhetoric. Perhaps that is just me?

afghans are anti pakistani because they curse punjabis/ranjeet singh for taking away kpk and fata and pakistan not honouring the british pact which promised them to return those lands, but durranis also snatched a good portion from iran as well which comprises western afghanistan.

Afghan ethnics born on Pakistan soil are Pakistanis, regardless of their viewpoint, technically they are Pakistanis. Thats the case in any other progressive country (referring to European ones). I don’t understand how many are still living in Pak illegally. We have so much work to be done in this sector.

When I came to UK and seeked asylum with my family, I have seen the process of becoming a citizen of a country. UK is too overpopulated for its size but they have discipline in this country and have managed to follow a guideline for foreigners who seek to start their life here. In Pakistan, we lack discipline and get impatient easily, which means even if something good is started it never continues for long because of our impatient nature. So it is still a far cry to have a system for refugees and have a nationalisation process so they start contributing towards country’s economy.

Abusing others because they abuse us won’t fix anything.
