Same thing happened in 1990s as well and it was also a belief that MQM would be Eliminated but they survived and Thrive just because People supported them.

You keep referring to 90's, do you really think this current military leadership is like those of 90's? Accept it and read after me: "MQM is in deep s**t and there is no easy way out". Army is committed to root out terrorism and federal government has no choice but to accept it even if it against a political party! PTI or no PTI in Karachi but get this, there will be no politics by force or militancy and if MQM thinks they can win elections by pure politics, good luck to them!

I am thinking of EXACT REPETITION here. Rangers said they are here to Cleanup Karachi like they said in 1990s to clean up 72 Fishes of whole Sindh Province and the operation was then directed towards MQM only just like in 1990s. Media back then did Media Trial of MQM and same is happening now as well. MQM Haqiqi, Punjabi Pakhtun Ittehad, SSP and Jamat was favored to get rid of them Politically now its PTI, SSP, Lyari Gang War and Jamat has been set this task. Situation is quite similar and the outcome of such situation made in 1990s was MQM survive and thrive while before the operation MQM was like Dying their own Dead.

PTI is Jumping up and Down here instead of Distance themselves from it and even Contesting NA 246 Election by taking Another U TURN so you dont need to be Rocket Scientist to understand the situation.
