Most hospitable countries?

well well hospitality is the topic here. Don't start bitc*ing mates!!!!

I think Saudi Arabia is. I have not heard so much abuse of maids, poor people etc anywhere else in the world.

Alright.. here we go..
maids are abused all over the world, even i remember your famous actor Shiney Ahuja abused/raped his maid, and i am sure you dont want india to be evicted from the list of most hospitable nation on basis of that

and for the second part
Find me a poor in Saudia that can effect the hospitality of Saudi's? or for that matter any country--
:what:

US is hospitable depending on where you live and are, but in general is hospitable. Other things like how your dressed, where your from, and your appearance may be a factor in how your treated or thought of. Though I still think there is decent hospitality.

I haven't visited the South of US so I haven't experienced that famous "Southern Hospitality" but I've met a few women from the South, Texas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, etc and they were very sweet (mutual attraction does help).

Though intellectually I remain "iffy" when it comes to the South.

I am not talking about sexual abuse. Indians can be very prejudiced but physical abuses are very rare. There are tonnes of videos of Saudis abusing the people below them, treating non-Arabs badly etc. I am sure you have read the news of Sri Lankan, Indian , Filipino maids tortured with nails, iron box etc. that too by their women employers. Gay prince abusing and killing his assistant, Dubai prince torturing an Afghani and the list goes on. I have also seen a lot of Pakistanis talking about how South Asians are looked down upon there.

By the way, Shiney has consensual sex with the maid and she exploited it. Now the maid backtracked and withdrew her complaint.

Genorisity can be found throughout South Asia, particularly South Indians or even parts of Singapore or Thailand. I think South Asians or Asians in general can be very hospitable.

I've heard that the Burmese are real good at being hospitable .....

I have seen nothing out of the box there, these types of abuses happen every where, racism, abuse, gays, police torture all is a global phenomenon. But since Saudi Arabia has misinterpreted Sharia, Oil, Money, BinLaden these things are blown more out of proportion than usual in western media. Unless Saudi Arabia is the only country in the word with these ills, i cannot subscribe to your views.
And yeah Saudis are very hospitable people, come here and they will gift you a Ferrari :azn:

She had to withdrew, off court settlement card was always there, Shiney had money, fame probably some producers big money at stake on some of his films, it was just a matter of time.

in my personal opinion it's India they are the most Hospitable ppl regards M

Pakistan is the most hospitable country, we even welcome our enemies with open arms.

Pakistan in 91 open its western borders for million of poor masses from Afghanistan(same Afghans who said in 47 that we will convert Pakistan into Qabristan same Afghans who opposed Pakistan's entry in UN same Afghans who attacked Pakistan in early 50's) & Central Asian Stan states, which is biggest proof of hospitality in the history of world, & sadly Pakistan today is paying the price of giving them shelter as most of them became against Pakistan & wants to eliminate our culture & are on payrolls of our enemies, but still Pakistan didn't wipe them off from it's territory.

I know I am being biased, but this bias has been based on travels across many countries and I must say, I find my fellow compatriots to be the most hospitable people on this planet, along with Afghans.

I must also point out that hospitality is of many types, but the outwardly display of laying out all of whatever little one has has been put to test many a times and I am proud to say that my countrymen lead the way and each time pass with flying colours.

We argue and fight over the right to pick up the tab for our guests and friends and when we are visited, we lay it all out. This is the reason Pakistan goes on without any government support, its people and their hospitality carrying the day.

Hospitality is of many types but the people of South Asia are more 'open' to guests than western countries--developed countries. I think that there is a long history behind this...invasions also played a vital role apart from culture/traditions...

Moreover, women in South Asian countries do not work (most of them) which further contributes to make us more hospitable than western countries.

Had Pakistan been a country with an equal women work force, our hospitality would have evolved just like developed countries...
