More Than 23,000 Housing Units To Be Constructed In Federal Capital Islamabad
The projects amount to a total of Rs. 18 billion.

Five projects have been approved by CDA (Capital Development Authority) under which 23,827 housing units will be built. The projects amount to a total of Rs. 18 billion and will be built as a part of residential sectors in the federal capital, Islamabad.
This decision was made during the 45th meeting of the CDA Development Working Party (CDA DWP). The meeting was held under the supervision of Chairman CDA and attended by members of planning and design, officers of the planning commission, engineering and Ministry of Interior.
The meeting focused entirely on residential development as all the agenda items related to the development of sectors, which was usually looked ignored in the past. During the CDA-DWP meeting, the PC-I amounted to Rs. 6630.2 million for the development of the E-12 sector was approved by the party.
Under PC-I, the primary facilities comprise of complete infrastructure of the sector would be developed. Other than that, the meeting also approved the development sector I-15, which made PC-I amount to a total of Rs. 5656.24 million. Rs. 3112.162 million for the development of sector I-14 was also approved, while Rs. 2618.25 million for sector I-11’s development was also approved.
