Almost 90 percent of survey participants said the country should be defined as secular in the new Constitution. Some 50.6 percent said the definition of secularism should be kept as it is, and 40.7 percent said secularism should be “redefined to keep an equal distance from all religions.”

To all of you that talk about Turkey without knowledge.

So 90 percent want a secular Turkey, deal with it.

We've been dealing with those people who thinks they know Turkey better than its nationals, a lot lately. This will be a good answer to them.

And people should know that, the biggest reason why Turkey is progressing while other Muslim countries are not, is secularism. Religion and politics are not going well together, deal with it and embrace secularism or your country will always remain as underdeveloped.
