So I have started seeing a lot of Pakistani products and brands on the shelves of larger shopping centers as well as the smaller grocery shops. And not just available but occupying favorable positions as compared to the indian alternatives and even being promoted as bundles and discounts in places like Carrefoure.

The pictures below are just one example from a small super market. I'll try capturing more on my next encounters.

While people are busy spreading all their negativity for showing allegiance to their corrupt overlords. Some one some where is really doing something right...

Hi,

This looks like UAE because the prices are mentioned in AED and DH.
Please note that pakistani spices are the most comon item you will find in the spices section of any large or small supermarket. This is not a new development, it has been like this for many years.
I remember 10 years back coles and safeway in australia had similar shelves setup in the spices section.
This is one item we export all over the world in large quantities.
There is still no comparision with indian produced items which rabge from foodtuff to electronics and textile etc.

.
Shan, three rivers, national, laziza, tooba, etc are already popular here in US. I haven't seen any new stuff.

.
But Indian spices are there too.. Not only bcz they are largest producers but quality too. I don't remember names but can take pics and upload later.

I am saying they have become more and more available while they were not before. You will not find them in the same supermarkets groceries where they are now. Besides, while Shan was already there, I haven't seen Mehran in UAE before for all these years and yet its occupying the top shelves every where and even being sold on discounted bundles and offers in places like Carrefoure.
And it doesn't just end there, I have started seeing other brands and products which I haven't seen before.
I'll get the pics next time I'm out shopping.

Carrefoure is opening in Pakistan.

Infact a cousin worked on one of their first projects in Faisalabad.

Shan and other Pakistan spices and Pickles have been available in Pakistani as well as Indian grocery stores in Canada for more than 10 years, and even in the large grocery store including Wall mart.
