Thats Great News man.

I like how efficient culturally These People are.

this is not about culture, but about preparing for the future.
what do you think the next 10-20 years? that will be era of A.I
their future will be very competitive then today.
Parents job is to prepare for their kids for the future.
even China already introduce A.I books to school kids.

Dont worry once he starts going to school, his time will be divided as well as his interests. Why blame kids???, lets be honest here, we giv them these gadgets to make them busy, so they dont disturb us & once they become addicted we start looking for solutions....

Send him to the garden with a ball, bat and ball, skipping rope and shut the door on him. Tell him to keep himself amused. He will complain, cry etc, let him. Parents these days give in easy.....
At the same time take him biking, introduce him to the local martial arts gym, take him on tours and generally get him away from the screen. Screen time has literally become the death of family communication now a days.

.
On a side note the older generation were mechanical and hands-on people because computers did not exist like they do today.

My oldman used to get me to help with either fixing the car or doing DIY even. I have seen things go from analogue to digital.

So cutrent generation and coming generations are all about these devices.

I once asked a younger person to check the oil in the engine. Didn't know what that meant or what it was where my dad taught me that at a younger age.

You're not alone. My daughter is the same and she's just 9. I am afraid for her future. She doesn't wanna study nor does she concentrate in her class. I worry about her everyday. *sigh*

Learn to say "No".
Saying "No" to your Kids in certain moments is part of an Healthy Education.

Many Parents, Fear the consequences and the responsibility that comes after a "No". But it's your Job as a parent.

No Need to take it away completely in one go... like any "Addiction" treat it as one... Little by little... decrease the time spent on it...Day after Day, by Imposing a schedule... Like per exemple 1H today...then 30 min 2 weeks later and so on... But no need to cut it off for ever... or forbid it... it will backfire... better him/her doing it infront of you than behind your back...at least you have control upon it.

And in the Meantime, give him an "Occupation" whatever it's sport, Homework, helping at home, playing outside etc...

And LAst..; the most Important thing... Communication... Your kid "Understand" everything... a Child is like a sponge... As long as you explain your "decision" over and over... he/she will understand... doesn't mean he/she will accept it..; but at least the Aggression/Anxiety that comes with "taking it away" will be way lesser than "normal"...

Ps: Everytime you decide for whatever reason to take something away or restrain something...Always, make sure to tell him beforehand.
