MNS asks TV channel to remove Pak comedian​

The Cine Workers Association, a wing of Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), has threatened TV channel Sony of dire consequences if it did not take Pakistani comedian Shakeel Siddiqui off its laughter show immediately.

The association has sent a threat letter to the channel at its office in Malad. Demanding immediate removal of Siddiqui from its show the letter threatened the channel that it will be difficult for it to air its programmes in Maharahstra if it does not heed to the diktat.

This is not the first time that the MNS has taken law into their hands. The party has a notorious reputation of flouting laws and forcing its diktats in the state.

I think you need to watch others comedian as well. The bases of not liking is not his words but nationality as other use same words which you hate coming from teh mouth of a Pakistani.

I was replying to this. All comedian on comedy circus or any other laughter show do this. So technically he should hate them all

I think its stupid.

Unlike sports persons ,artist don't represent their nation a classical sense,i mean they don't the wear the flag on on the chest.

Artists ,writers,scientists or even doctors are intellectuals who work in their individual capacities .

IMO,Shakil Siddiqui or any Pakistani artist shouldn't be face any objection from anyone if they want to perform in India.
