Microsoft Flight Simulator - E3 2019 - Announce Trailer

Will it simulate 737 MAX realistically?
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::enjoy::enjoy::enjoy:

meh system with 16GB RAM i7-3770k and GT640 3GB cost me around 400 USD 2 years ago. Have the good old Logitech Joystick to supplement it. Planning to go VR with FSXX/ DCS.
not 'meh' as long as it gets the job done. FSX is a bit of a paradox, just have to find the right scenery and aircraft that agree with your system and all is well.

Will wait for reviews before jumping into XX.

I'd recomend a TrackIR before anything, it makes even the default Piper Cub the most fun thing in the world :P

but then there's 2 aspects to simming, there's the whole "study sim" and military hardcoreness nerdy bit

and then there's the leisure/fun/"gaming" and beer session with the guys thing to having a little bit of a setup.

Pedals and a trackIR, bro ! .. those will take your existing setup, limitations and all, up a lot of notches, turn it to 11 essentially.. give you more miles for your buck than a massive gpu/cpu/mobo/ram/display etc etc headache upgrade.

I am divided between getting a TrackIR and a VR Headset. A friend of mine showed me his system and it was an exhilarating experience flying the FT-2(Mig-15) in P3D v4, however most sims haven't gone full VR friendly and I've heard it gives splitting headaches and disorientation after a short time to some people.

About the fun side me and a few buddies fly on JoinFS, a program that is XP11, P3Dv4 and FSX compatible where all can fly abreast. Discord is a great platform for voice comms. Sometimes I even fly military on VATSIM, although mostly I do GA with Milviz, Carenado aircraft.

Nice to know that you have advanced skills in flight SIM world. Few years back, I also acquired some skills particularly was learning 3D modelling in 3D Max but unfortunately time constraints get me of the track.
Will rethink upon release of E3 for PC; but first I have to workout upon efficient configuration of machine to assemble it myself which could handle it with ease.

That is awesome brother I myself am limited to Photoshop and a bit of Sketchup. I was looking for someone who knew his way around 3D modelling and 3DSMax to get a JF-17 in FSX/P3Dv4. I've got a high-poly, superbly modeled CAD model of the JF-17 which I converted to .DAE. It would be great if you could help in the conversion process. It's basically just texture mapping and a little basic animation.

Yeah, I'm sure the VR takes it to a whole other level of immersion but I still rely on the keyboard, and even with a mostly HOTAS setup, still have to look visually at the throttle and joystick for scrolling through various mappings etc.

Join FS sounds interesting but mostly solo flyer here, none of my friends are into sims :/

I've been playing FSX for so long that I can control the plane without looking at the keyboard just like typing lol.

BTW, if you ever want to fly some Military or GA on FSX/P3D you can join our server here, we desperately need a red team Indian pilot lol https://**********/YHafBFt. About weapons in FSX I suppose you've heard of Tackpack or CSWeapons, they make for a pretty good combat ecosystem outside of DCS and BMS.

So, the summer sale was great. Finally picked up the Persian Gulf scenery for DCS and am super happy with it, was going to pick up the Mirage2000 and the Harrier but left it for too late and missed the sale by a few minutes lol :hitwall::suicide2:

The FA 18C and F 16C were $$$ despite the sale, was tempted but gave them a miss as I don't have much time to put into learning those anyway...

also, check this guy out..
