Entered service in the early 70s as USSR's answer to America's AH-1 Cobra family, Mi-24 family is the most widely used attack helicopter in the world. The latest version Mi-35M (America code name Hind E) is Russia's counterpart to America's AH-1Z Viper, with Venezuela being the launch customer, and is known as AH-2 Sabre in Brazil. Russia air force and Iraq air force used Mi-35M against ISIS. Pakistan air force uses Mi-35M against druggies.
