How does that reflect the overall situation?

I feel Indians just say it to make feel good, like 99.8% Pakistanis would never call themselves Indians cause in the west it's not considered cool to be an Indian-

While you get a different reaction when you're Paksitani (provided if you're there in decent numbers)

I live in NA where Pakistanis are largely well off compared to rest of the country (unfortunately as that talent should have stayed home)
So I interact with educated job seekers, nah it's not true, trust me
Cause A-they don't ask your nationality for jobs or anything - you are who you're, besides I think its illegal to
B- I don't know or experience someone in my circle using indian identity - like I don't know where it's coming from, I am oblivious to it as I never experienced anyone in my circle using it
C- It practically doesn't make sense- cause(according to you) they probably do it cause they're Muslims
Well they have Muslim names like Muhammad somewhere- how would claiming a different nationality help the guy?
Cause the beef is the faith itself,

This thread is proof that even Indians can't decent jobs. No wonder so many are turning to online scams. It's such a big industry that it has become the starting point of many a youtube scambaiter's career.

Not sure why you are so hell bent on defending these scammers? Maybe you personally know many people who are involved in this racket and you have taken upon yourself to defend their "honour".

Do you have something more recent, and anything besides isolated examples from 11 years ago? That example itself seems to be questionable.

I get scamming phone calls with Indian accent everyday, sometime multiple times a day. The numbers are always spoofed.

This is byproduct of cheap outsourcing. The call centers have access to 100s of thousands if not millions of people's personal information. This is not going to go away anytime soon.

Another thing, in Europe and america, the locals who have experience with both communities know that, by and large the two communities look very different. Generally, the Pakistanis definitely look very different from BD and majority of indians.

Almost all scam calls I got had south Indian accents. A serious problem and really very disappointing. I used to trust south Indians. The first time luckily I did not give all of the info she asked. Initially I took the call seriously. Told them I will directly come to their office. She said she is from the tax department, somebody had committed ten million dollar tax fraud in my name, and police would get involved. I called the tax office and reported their numbers, they said it is a scam, by this time I had figured it was, we couldn't call back on those numbers.

That event came to light because of obvious reasons that we both now know. Possibly this has always been the case, no one can deny this.

Also, now that Pakistanis are proved to be supporting the Taliban all along (while taking money to fight the very Taliban), anti-Pakistani feelings in the west may run high. All the Pakistanis in the west have my blessings to start posing as Indians again, I have no problem with that really.

Since you keep dodging my main question about any recent articles on this, we know you got nothing more recent so your arguments can be dismissed easily.

As for the article from 2010, ahe arguments presented on slate.com are relevant. They didn't even meet a single Pakistani who was posing as an Indian, so it seems questionable. It's not reported anywhere else either, other than Indian media. So based on the fact that it was reported on a single non-Indian source and not something more widespread, and the fact that they didn't meet a single so called Pakistani posing as an Indian, this can be dismissed as well.

So not only are you lying about today, you are also lying about 11 years ago.

Now going back to the original post, since a Bharti deflected from it. Yes, India is the global hub for scammers. LEAs across the globe focus on India. Just listen to any scam-busters like Jim Browning, Pleasant Green, or watch documentaries from CBC Marketplace etc. They are all focused on India. They almost never mention a country besides India.
