Meet Russia's airbase busters. Kh-101 and Kh-59MK2 ground attack missiles.

Modern combat more than 90% of the time it's about attacking airbases. Because, you know, you take out enemy's airbase, you take out enemy's ability to put planes into the sky. Air to air combat is about 10% of the time. Of air to air combat, about 90% of the time it's dogfight, about 10% of the time it's BVR interception. BVR don't work that well because jamming, RWR, chaff. Could be improved once AESA BVR missiles become operational, at which point BVR could be more than 50% of the time in air combat.

Kh-101. Low RCS. Range 5000 km. Only strategic bombers can carry these.

Kh-59MK2. Low RCS. Range 500 km. Carried by large fighter jets like Su-35 / 30 / 57.
