Yes she is from medical corps. Is she doctor or something....?
Why don't we have women in our core commanders group.Yes she is from medical corps.
Because you need field commanders for field formations , men who have fought in combat get to command combat troops ,Why don't we have women in our core commanders group.
Army is the most modern institution . They must also include women in the top brass.
No no don't want any symbolic representation.. Infact there are many army chiefs who are women in many countries and head of intellegence are women too sometimes . Surely our system is different .Because you need field commanders for field formations , men who have fought in combat get to command combat troops ,
Women now even get posted to frontline units , yet as mto's etc
But asking for them to be corp commanders just for your version of ' modern ' is absurd and shows a lack of real world understanding

I just gave an example , even if they have seen combat , they are not on frontline offices like playing commanders etc, rather in the 2nd lineThere are women in engineers and signals and probably Air Defenxe will be the next arm opened up.
It take several decades to reach Lt Gen ie Corps Commanders. The first women outside medical corps were only inducted in mid 2000’s. So another 15-20 years before the first one has enough service to reach three star rank.
MTO?
Lots of women have seen combat in the last 10 years.
Just for representation? Are you out of your mind ?No no don't want any symbolic representation.. Infact there are many army chiefs who are women in many countries and head of intellegence are women too sometimes . Surely our system is different .
But we should develop our military on the lines so as not equally but some form representation.
Not the stuff in parliament where reserve seats are for only women who are only there to praise their masters
Just for representation? Are you out of your mind ?
Please read my post again.I just gave an example , even if they have seen combat , they are not on frontline offices like playing commanders etc, rather in the 2nd line
Just for representation? Are you out of your mind ?
Just think of this for a second ,
A young lieutenant , whose done years of arduous jobs of platoon commander , section ,company , 2ic , G3 , G1 , Bat co, Brigade , NDU staff college ,
All the required field experience only for his ascension to 3 star stopped just for a female with even if some field experience, not as much guaranteed, for the sake of what you call ' representation ' ,
The countries you mentioned where women are the chief penalty staffs , what is the size and responsibilities of those armed forces ?
And I outlined the exact reasons why they can't become field commanders if not in the symbolic categoryPlease read my post again.
I said we don't want any women for symbolic representation .
I don't think she needs a boot polisher ....Not interested to meet her
