I thought the situation was resolved as best as it could. The problem is lot of homeless have other issues informing their status like mental health, drug addiction etcThey called the police when he was out in their parking lot asking everybody for money and wouldn’t leave.
By the time the police got there one customer had brought him inside for a bite to eat.

Customers might be put off by such a person so I can understand why McD would do what they did. The police did their job without 'hurting' anybody. Of course the issue of homelessnes is bigger and beyond this event. I think no country, USA, UK, Pakistan or whatever have figured out a perfect cure for that. Even in a welfare society like UK where in theory public housing is available at point of want and subsistence money is given as matter of right we still have people on the streets because of they have all sort of personal issues.
The person taking the video didn't help the cause either by being extremely annoying and even to a certain extent, belligerent. If he had half a brain and even minor speaking skills and used a little bit of tactfulness along with some respect, he might've gotten better results. It's always how you handle it.
BTW, most of these restaurants post signs that don't allow loitering of any kind, which includes pan-handling, begging or bothering any of their customers for money or anything else on their property. Another thing this guy shooting the video probably understood but acted like he didn't.
And one more thing I noticed is a lot of these people going around so eager to film these encounters to post on their YouTube channel are only looking for attention. There's a whole other element of wanting badly to catch a bad scenario unfolding on camera. He was careful not to keep it panned on that cop's face, though. This guy looked like he's been there and done that before and knows when you push cops with cameras in their faces that it pisses them off to no end. Pretty obvious he was looking for a good YouTube clip.
