You have a good point -- What I think I should have meant was either publish the results of the survey this guy talks about OR even conduct an independent scientific survey and report on its results.
That would have been a better approach.
The problem is that Afghanistan today is war zone with too many actors involved. and as they say "in a war, truth is the first casualty". So it's very difficult to ascertain who is telling what and why.
The Western world has a very sophisticated and well developed information/propaganda networks and they are all involved in Afghanistan thus the picture coming out of Afghanistan is very distorted, even surveys conducted are suspect in such environment. As you yourself will know, an Afghan will always tell you what he thinks you want to hear.
On another level a Farsiban from Kabul thinks and speaks completely different from a Pashtun from the Kandahar countryside. So geographical spread also becomes very important.
Still I greatly appreciate that you didn't start blind attacks on me when I questioned what you have posted. The normal approach one come to expect from majority people in here.
