Man taken into custody after climbing on airplane wing before takeoff Video shows the man climbing on the wing of Alaska Airlines Flight 1367 as it prepared for takeoff Saturday at McCarran International Airport. Airport staff spotted the man around 2 p.m. PT after he hopped a perimeter fence. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says it responded to a call of a man on the tarmac at McCarran Airport at about 1:32 p.m. When they arrived the man was on the wing of an Alaska Airlines flight headed to Portland. Alaska Airlines released this statement: Around 2 p.m. PST, Alaska Airlines flight 1367 from Las Vegas to Portland was preparing for take-off when the pilot noticed an individual advancing towards the aircraft. The pilots notified the tower. Law enforcement was dispatched and able to apprehend the individual. Our guests and employees are safe and we are working with law enforcement. The plane has returned to the gate for a full inspection.

Mass Shootings aren't the norm in other Countries. Yeah there are incidents that take place in certain Countries, but they are politically motivated.

The Columbine High School Shooting in the late 90's started a trend in the US. How many have you lot had in the past 2 Decades?

I'm not even covering the Mall Shootings and or the Sniper ones (a la Las Vegas).

Or people doing crazy things on planes in other countries?

You guys have Flight Attendants (JetBlue) popping a Beer can, opening the Over-Wing Exit, Sliding down, walking through the entire Terminal and to the Parking Lot, getting into his JEEP & driving home. WoW.

You have a Foreign man (Vietnamese) being dragged while bleeding.

You have babies being off-loaded because THEY aren't wearing a Mask. Since when are infants supposed to be wearing masks ?!!

And most are focused on people killing each other in wars.

Theres a reason why many countries banned guns in their countries. Can't be trusted with it. So what does that say about their mindset? Think its an American thing?
