But that are the ONLY plus's, it would be inferior in all the rest of the aspects. Do you still think its junk?

Are you talking about RCS, Armaments, Then no Su-30MKI is not that good as Rafale, Typhoon and SuperHornet. Avionics is good enough Manoverability, Radar, But more importantly Range, Payload. Another Important Specs of SU-30MKI was made in 1997 not 2007 so it is already a 10yr old design, You can do the comparison when it has middle life upgrade which should come around 2015.

Now Compare this to MIG-35 ;which is for a different purpose and class. Rafale Typhoon and Super Hornet are better than the MiG-35 with the present timeline.

Now if you want we can compare Engine, Range, Payload, RCS, Armaments, Avionics, Datalinking etc Typhoon vs Rafale vs MiG-35
Typhoon is regarded as the Best there is after the F-22, even before the SU-35 SuperFlanker. There are reasons for that.

Most of Typhoons capabilities as well as Rafale's are 'under development'. But in anycase, like i posted in another place.

We are wasting our time on discussing these things. All the planes in contention with the exception of Gripen are mean machines, and IAF will surely benifit from them regardless of the choice. The important thing is for MoD to actually BUY any in the first place.

Discussing this, only makes us more and more frustrated at the lack of progress.
