Pakistan cannot afford to secure western border while also having to spend 90% of resources on eastern border. Make LoC international border. Stop poking nose in IoK and India stop funding terrorism in Pakistan. Then you will have resources to truly secure western border and end afghani terrorism in Pakistan once for all.

we stay focused on the east- A friendly government in A-stan made up of mujahideen leaders/ council and providing weaponry to local freedom fighters (as in local young men of Kashmir) in Kashmir and insurgency in Punjab

i don't think India will ever let go this opportunity if you make peace even if you get to your knees. they will keep it as long as they could.
