Madinah court sentences six Pakistanis for disrespecting Masjid-e-Nabwi

Although I regret such incident should have never happened...

This is so hard of Saudis to punish these people who probably did it in frustration and anger.

Saudis should finally start living in 21st century and let people express their opinion freely

The sanctity of such holy places is brought into question, when murderers, looters, sexual predators, tax evaders, suppressors of people, walk under guard,
This holy place is for all man kind - sinners and pious alike. There is no rule that a sinner is not allowed to recite darood shareef or visit this holy place to pay respect.

not when people raise their voice against them and their acts on the outside of the mosque. Shameful state of affairs for the Muslim Ummah. We worship and hold in esteem the acts of religiosity, not the core construct and tenants of our religion. Sad.
Yeah they do that in Pakistan and they will be slapped with blasphemy.

Six Pakistanis were found guilty of disrespecting Masjid-e-Nabwi (the Prophet’s Mosque) by shouting slogan during the visit of Pakistani ministers in April last.

The Madinah court awarded sentence of 10 years imprisonment and slapped of 20,000 Riyals fine for disrespecting Masjid-e-Nabwi (the Prophet’s Mosque).

Earlier in April, Tahir Ashrafi, a PM advisor, had said that six Pakistanis had been detained by the Saudi government for disrespecting the Prophet’s mosque by shouting slogans and hackling federal ministers who were visiting the country as part of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s team.

Two days ago, a Madinah court sentenced them to prison, said Ashrafi.

Three of the accused were sentenced to 10 years in prison, each. Rest were handed eight years imprisonment, he said.

Those who have been sentenced to 10 years include Ans, Irshad and Muhammad Saleem. Others have been identified as Khawaja Luqman, Muhammad Afzala nd Ghulam Muhammad.

The court imposed fine of 20,000 Riyals on each of them and has confiscated their mobile phones.

Masjid-e-Nabwi incident
Several Pakistani pilgrims heckled federal ministers Marriyum Aurangzeb and Shahzain Bugti at Prophet’s Mosque after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif landed in Medina to start his three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia.

In a viral video, a group of men who encircled the federal ministers, while they were being escorted inside the mosque, used profanities against them for ousting Imran Khan and its government through a no-confidence motion.

Later on, the Saudi authorities confirmed that they had arrested some Pakistani pilgrims on suspicion of being involved in the incident and started the investigation.
Correct decision. Double standards of Pakistani public.

Politics is more important to pakistani public than the sanctity and thoughts/prayers/love for Hazrat Muhammad SAW.

Millions weep all life and cannot still go to see Masjid e nabwi, these are just thankless idiots.

Ilaaj hay inka.

Good, no place for politics in the holly places.

Those Pakistanis should be ashamed and good lesson for everyone.
If i get a chance to go to this holy place, would i care if Hitler, Nero, butcher of baghdad, zardari, nawaz, IK, or the worst human being in humanity shows up ? NO WAY !

I will be thanking for the opportunity to be at such a holy place and not wasting seconds or minutes by diverting my thoughts anywhere else. Why should i waste even one second thinking about another when I dont even know if i ever get a chance to visit this place again.

I have met older people telling me they wished to go there all their lives but couldn't make it. They say we regret if we die without visiting Mecca and Medina. Then you have these fools who run after politics at every given opportunity.

Kiya pata, God forgives me for all my sins during that one visit of mine as I offer salah there.

I have no remorse for these Pakistanis sentenced to punishment.

I totally feel sorry for those punished with this retarded extremist law prison sentence,
this sentence should've been no more than 6 months to 2 years.
This also shows Saudi haste against ANY Pakistani?
Lets see a Saudi Court hand out 10 year sentence to Indian/Jew?
Try being a christian/hindu and do this type of political slogan shouting outside any mosque in Pakistan. You will be charged with blasphemy.

Who are Saudis to punish these men if they supposedly had committed sin by yelling chor at a chor? Who are they to judge? Who are they to oppress Muslims that are practicing jihad and standing up to their oppressors?

Loving your circular logic... lol

Love me or leave me

So you’re claiming a hindu or Christian couldn’t yell Shabaz sharif is a chor outside of a mosque in Pakistan?
There are laws, let your stay in Pakistan not make you forget that ever. However, more than that, there is a culture and then up bringing (religious and ethical). Pakistanis in the said case seem to lack all and thus punished.

Saudia’s are custodians of the holy place. I am against these chor but Holy place is not the place to cause chaos. There is a place for everything and instead of yelling chor they should pray for the country. Them yelling chor won’t change anything but their prayer can change everything.

As @Signalian said, people wait their entire life to visit the holy land. Absolutely no place for these actions. We must be at our best behaviour when we visit our Prophet (pbh) mosque. Their should be nothing else on mind.
They can protest in front of politicians homes and their place of work.

Bro, can’t compare mosque in Pakistan to Mecca and Madina.

Leave your hate on aside and try to understand what these places mean to muslims. We must love our Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) more than anything in the world. So politics doesn’t even come close.

LoL, I don’t want to get into a religious debate but politics had a major role in Islam. I’m sure you’ve studied the history of Islam and this was the same place where Muhammad swt stood up to the oppressors of his time.

Unlike the rest of the Pakistanis here, you guys can’t pull wool over my eyes.

The law in itself is retarded and lacks any merit. To try and justify it with Islam is absolutely condemnable.

KSA is losing the spirit of Islam, how sad. It is extreme poodling to the corrupts.

Talk about culture and upbringing? .. People would interrupt Umar RA while delivering Khutba from Minbar-e-Rasool and put him to explanation regarding Bait-ul-maal (public money) expenditure and Umar RA (or any other Sahabi for that matter) didn't see any disrespect of the Holy mosque in such an action...

Calling thieves out on their theft of public money, that too OUTSIDE Masjid-e-Nabvi is not a disrespect to the Holy Mosque .. Public questioning the rulers (inside the mosque or anywhere else) is something House of Saud can never allow hence such harsh and disproportionate punishments .. Nothing to do with Islam or sanctity of the mosque (which anyway is meant to be a community center)
