Pakistan is also the birthplace of the Brazuca, the official match ball for the 2014 FIFA world cup. Most Pakistanis, let alone the rest of the world, are unaware of the Brazuca’s Sialkoti origins.

That's because Pakistan suffers from a negative, lopsided and doctored perception created by the media in the world...we should try to correct it through independent media, through social media and every platform available...like PDF here.

Everyone should do its bit.

@Pluralist What a inspiring thread. Thanks. Talking about citadel of Islam or the ummah will do nothing. But this will make Pakistan great.

And this is real industry. Not fat cats living off import licences/franchizes or government contracts. You know they are real. They are competing with the world and beating them by exporting.

Thanks a lot...last few posts are about the Golden Export Triangle - Sialkot, Gujrat, Gujranwala, you can add in between Wazirabad as well. All locally developed industries with no or very little foreign franchises, need more value addition here to increase the exports though.

But people here are great entrepreneurs, enterprising and business savvy, and innovative too.

Will add more posts about the FMCG's industry, telecom, media and many more...

Well, I stand corrected. I hope they don't just limit themselves to assembling imported knocked down goods like the Automotive sector but design and build everything in-house as well.

It's an assembly line.
