It's still under construction, this isn't really proof of anything other than that construction is on going. Shit like this happens in big projects all the time, the Chinese will adjust and fix any issue that pops up.

If there's one thing that you gotta admire China for is its sheer force of will to get major projects completed.

Well, Hull Crack is not something rare, it happened more frequently than you think, even US Navy suffer this problem

Metal Fatigue from ship travel at speed against wave put stress on the hull, and that would crack the hull if this happens.

The only difference is, if crack happened when the ship is in dry dock and had never been used. That would be another story, this mostly points to building defect......

If that is really a crack that run 2/3 of the width of that deck without the ship ever hitting water, I would probably look into how that ship is being built.
