HolidayIQ Traveller Vijay Hebbar shares, “Mumbai is a city with infinite opportunities. You can always find something to amaze you here. Everything from the beaches, restaurants, malls, the transport is top notch. The traffic can get to you at times but its worth it. The people here are very friendly and helpful. If you have never travelled in the Mumbai local trains then you must!. It's quite a mini adventure. But please take care of you belongings. We visited the Gateway of India in the evening. It's quite worth the watch. The famous Taj hotel is situated nearby. There are several eateries there you must not miss. If you're a beer fan then Cafe Mondegar and Cafe Leopold are just waiting for you to enter. These places are always full, bustling with people from all around the country and abroad!. We also took a ride on the sea link. It was one of the best rides of my life. The view from there is total spectacular. Speaking of views, don't for to see the Queens Necklace at Nariman Point!”

7. Lucknow

HolidayIQ Traveller Arunav Singh from Allahabad shares, “The best city in entire India and I say it proudly. There is no other city with as perfect proportion of its cultural heritage to modern age as Lucknow is. Indulge in our rich variety of cuisines (we Lucknowites prefer street food to dining in big restaurants, actually the real taste here resides in the street food), discover locations, all the original Lakhnavi Chikan you have heard of, dive in headfirst into Love Lane to buy awesome clothes for her or into Prince Market for him, roam the streets of Chowk to get a bite out of everything, visit the Malls if you want a brand. Welcome to Taj if you want the taste of upper class, learn the Lakhnawi Tehzeeb of saying PEHLE AAP, take away some unforgettable memories which you would cherish your entire lifetime that's for sure.”

9. Ahmedabad

HolidayIQ Traveller Harsha Bhatia from Mumbai shares, “Ahmedabad is a lovely city. Life is very peaceful there. There is less pollution compared to Bombay. We visited many places in Ahmedabad but I liked Akshardham temple and Kankaria lake the most. At Kankaria, the kids enjoyed a lot. There is a toy train which circles the entire lake and runs on a track. We can view the entire lake on boarding the train. There is boating, amusement park, food stalls there so we do not have to go out for anything. The whole lake is lighted so beautifully, it looks very nice especially after sunset. It was a very lovely trip.”

10. Varanasi

source: wikimedia.org & wikimedia.org

HolidayIQ Traveller Swastik73 from Kolkata shares, “Varanasi is considered as the oldest continuously habituated city in the world. The city is charming and will attract and enchant you. Strange how such an old city with dirt, filth, improper transportation system, congestion can attract you, but it does as it grows into you. The Vishwanath Temple, The Ghats, Banaras Hindu University, Ganga Aarti in the even and the River along with the crowds will mesmerise your senses. A must visit place before you die.”
