Lockheed to Design F-35 Variant for International Defense Client

Singapore source said it is likely Singapore, just minor modification for their 4 ordered planes ( and possible subsequent order of another 8 planes)

Very much possible. Singapore is a darling for the US and chances are that RSAF may acquire a couple of dozen more F-35s over the years as their oldest F-16s retire.

Pakistan has a population of 223 million people which is a total of most arab countries combined. High population density has its own challenges. As for better living standards have you even been to Pakistan to make such a stupid assumption? Come to Islamabad it is repeatedly ranked one if the best capitals in the world. Next time dont make stupid generalised comments. Dont open your mouth unless your country managed a population of 223 million in a single country within a small land mass and dealt with its challenges.
So refusing to pick up one's trash has to do with population density...thanks you are truly a urban planning, civic responsibility, moral psyche and political mismanagement genius...

Yup, look the development cost LOL. It is just minor modification on IFF, sofware and others, not intended to develop new variant

All it takes is one sanctions regime and it will be game over for the KSA/UAE. I see some diversification efforts on the part of the Saudis to look at Chinese and Russians but UAE is entirely beholden to the US/EU, no ifs and buts. While it may seem implausible right now, all it takes is this one little fork in the road.
That same rule is applicable to any European country or a pro-American developed countr, therefore, no one falls out of line.

So, we have this situation in the American World Order where some countries are under restrictions and some are not. It's best to be in the latter group but sometimes the Americans will put restrictions on some countries for no obvious reasons other than that they might pose a challenge in future at some point even though there's no indication of it today.

People drop trash on the roads everywhere not something exclusive to Pakistan. I live in Australia and as you move to suburbs there is trash every where in road sides. Obviously it gets cleaned every day but population in outer suburbs is very dense and you will find trash with same proportions. I mean population of entire qatar is 2.8 million, Bahrain 1.7 million and kuwait 4.7. These are some of the rich and resource rich countries in the entire world and yet you think they make up for a good comparison againt Pakistan with 223 mil population and agriculture and biggest source of income. I can only laugh at your stupidity.

IMF aside, be proud of your poverty. There is something of value in it. The poverty is because of lack of FDI, keeping Pakistan on the FATF grey list indefinitely, restricting the growth of CPEC, harsh conditions imposed on Pakistan's economy through IMF/WB, West restricting military sales to Pakistan and quite a few other ways. However, the poverty allows Pakistan to not give in to the diktats of others at the expense of its own long term interests.

1) You remain on the grey list because you FAIL to pass the necessary legislation and setup the oversight required by all countries in FATF.
Its purpose is to stop organised and inadvertent funding of terrorist groups. This is Pakistan's strategic and deliberate choice made for purposes that most in the world are aware of.

2) The IMF is a bank of LAST resort. Most countries in their history go to the IMF maybe once or twice. Pakistan has always approached the IMF more than 22 times. Each time Pakistan promises structural change like getting the VERY RICH to pay taxes on vast estates, to privatise failing costly govt owned factories and companies, to allow the State Bank to make sensible decisions re inflation , money supply, forex holdings etc. Instead the Govt uses it as its own personal piggy bank to subsidize the richest in the country.
IMF is getting strict with Pakistan because this is the 22nd time of making promises and failing to deliver.
The WB and ADB the Islamic banks , the Japanese Banks have been VERY generous .

3) there is minimal restriction as long as you have the money to buy defence products. Unfortunately , Pakistan is like a heroin addict that had become hooked on free and subsidised weapons. It cannot comprehend that you have to pay for expensive habits.
Now Pakistan jumps from bed to bed. First the Americans and Brits , then the Arabs , back to the Americans but now firmly in the Chinese bed after a brief flirtation with Turkey. Its making eyes at Russia too.

4) How exactly is the growth of CPEC being restricted ???. The Chinese hold the purse strings and employ Chinese Labour to build white elephant infrastructure in your country. You own the debt to the Chinese and they will collect.
The Chinese unlike the Americans do not freely give tens of billions as they did to Pakistan.
They will want their pound of flesh one way or another

I am aware of the tactical reasons for each of the above. All of these things work in concert. When we are in line with the interests of the powers that be, all things move in the right direction seamlessly because nobody puts up roadblocks. For example #3, do you think you are paying cash for the Rafale etc.? All of it is financed after clearance from the political side. When you don't get political clearance, the financing part is claimed to be the roadblock when it has never been one. After all Pakistan is footing the bill for multi-billion dollar Milgem, T-129 and even did so for the earlier F-16 Blk 52 purchases. When we have diverging interests, all sorts of facile arguments and reasons are put forward to inhibit.

We will make #4 happen with China. That is a done deal despite the roadblocks thrown our way. On 1-3, others have leverage but Pakistan will not give in to fall in line with the existing world order.
