Clay versus United States comes to mind. What a gentleman was Mohammed Ali, despite being a black American he took up the issue as per his conscience and eventually won. Now THAT is how a genuine American thinks and handle matters.

You are right brother. Am I wasting my time to convince them? No. I am putting words here for those who might visit this thread and will at-least get to see two different opinions. I am an academicians and do it for academic purposes. With years on this forum, I know all too well that the two I am replying to are incorrigible.

It is important to note that even after that recent history, both Vietnam and USA are working together to improve relations and business, just like Japan and USA.
