last night had chat with american pilot who participated in cope india

last nigt got the oppurtunity to talk to brother of my mate (office mate) he is pilot of c5 galaxy .he participated in cope india .he told me lot of things about india which i enjoyed a lot . but the most important he used the exact word "indian pilots kicked our *** hard in dogfight" although he didnt participated as c5 is mainly transport aircraft he said that when americans pilots returned from dogfight they were all shocked with what they just experienced .i really enjoyed talking to him .he told me that before the trip he had the image that india as third world country wont stand against american pilot but the result was just opposite.

its really great if u listen great things about ur country from an american in america.

frankly speaking i feel shame that i don know abt our air force capability and an american was giving me all that information but i feel proud also to be indian really IAF has gone long way but still miles to cover...

Asim, US pilots are also human beings ..... and what is the stock reaction when you get your backside handed to you fair and square ..... if you are a good sport, you admit defeat and appreciate the victor ...... if not, you go into denial mode and conspiracy theories

Have you heard of Giora Epstein? I think we could put more credibility to his views than those of USAF's flying aces of today don't you think?

The US elite forces - air, sea, land, SF - have come to accept the man-for-man superiority of their Indian counterparts over combined war games these last few years. But that is going OT and we can start a new thread for that

Before you make any statements you make please provide ample proof for it.Like links, videos, pictures.
Experiences like this are not accounted as proof.

There is nothing wrong in striving to be the best. And there is definitely nothing wrong in pride in being the best. Especially on a global platform.

In many ways it vindicates the progress made by ones country - starting from scratch on a world stage against others with huge headstarts over us, and should in no way be construed as mine-is-bigger-than-yours attitudes.
