Las Vegas mass shooting

. .
If his motivation remains unknown, how can we know he was a terrorist? Terrorism always has a stated purpose. The only purpose known so far is the claim by ISIS that he was one of theirs and I see no reason at this time to believe it.

As always, I would urge waiting until the investigation is complete, and not jumping to premature conclusions on the basis of an incomplete picture.

I've been to a few casinos and they have tons of cameras everywhere. Now, I'm interested to see footages of this Paddock guy carrying bags of weapons into the hotel.

Tragic loss of life and proof that more guns equals more violence. Condolences to our American friends here.

@Providence @Solomon2 @Mugwop etc and last but not least the untreatable @Syed.Ali.Haider
Thank you for your condolences brother but I can't imagine living in America without a gun.
If it's Canada or UK I could but definitely not America.
In Pakistan every 2nd to 3rd citizen is armed with guns but you barely see violence like this, The problem lies within American society not guns.

It's how terrorism is defined in the English language, as violence meant to intimidate for a purpose. If he had a purpose we don't know what it is yet.

He was a murderer and I am not defending him. But to label him "terrorist" in absence of a known purpose is an indefensible abuse of the English language.
What about the case when people are being labeled as a terrorist for having a hairy brown skin?

Police recovered 23 guns from his Las Vegas hotel room and another 19 guns from Paddock's home in Mesquite, Nevada, Clark County Assistant Sheriff Todd Fasulo said (CNN)

What a crazy maniac.

RIP ..
What great loss of life .
Who knows the coming moment ..

I've been to a few casinos and they have tons of cameras everywhere. Now, I'm interested to see footages of this Paddock guy carrying bags of weapons into the hotel.

He got the room on 28th september and smugled the guns in the room and then entered the room after some days and carried out shooting yesterday .

He was not in casinos. It is legal to bring guns with you in public. But I guess you can not bring so many guns with you into a casino: first, casino is not public;second, they may think you will rob them.

Anyway gun lobby too strong

Yanks will just have to accept this as a way of life
It is constitution. It is almost impossible to get the majority to do that. But I hope President Trump can do something about it . Least he will not be accused of kissing up to liberals since we all know they hate each other so much.

The 2nd amendment was reasonable when it was made: 1 USA is a new country. they were afraid of tyranny.Let people keep their guns to fight the tyranny when needed. 2 USA did not has a regular army. People with guns can be summoned to fight against any invasion. 3 they need guns to fight native Americans.

Now everything changed. Fight tyranny with gun? Good luck with your rifle when you run into a M1A2.

as violence meant to intimidate
Killing 58 people is violence of the highest order;intended to intimidate. Shooting bullets with abandon into crowds tends to scare people.

f he had a purpose we don't know what it is yet.
Every human action has a purpose. Whether rest of us understand or can rationalize it is another matter. Paddock did this for a reason. However so bizzare.

It's not the guns but the type of guns. If you allow semi-automatic weapons, and you bet there would be few crazy ones in 300 million people. Just to put on perspective, even Indian Punjab has 38% gun ownership but you'll never see this kind of situation as government won't allow high powered weapons. I have a shot gun and had to go thorough a pretty decent vetting to get licence in Australia. NRA is too powerful, as Al Gore found out in 2000 that how NRA can influence the Presidential election, and after that some one need pretty big balls to take on them. Even the charm of Bill Clinton was not good enough to take on NRA. How can a government allow some one to buy AT 22 with relative ease and it only costs around $500? Its amazing, isn't it?

These words are coming from someone who is hard core guns fan.
