LAHORE: The oldest tiger at the Lahore zoo died at the age of 16 on Tuesday, Express News reported.

The animal, named Jumbo, had reportedly stopped eating food since the past one week.

Injections and vitamins were being given to the animal in order to revive his health but Jumbo passed away today (Tuesday).

Established in 1872, the Lahore Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in the world. It houses more than a hundred different species of animals.

Nothing new, last year some birds died in same zoo, I think this zoo should be handed over to International animal foundation or Singapore's zoo management they'll manage it better and maybe upgrade modernize it. shahbaza can't run anything.

I had been to that zoo back in 1990s....it was thriving back then....RIP poor Jumbo

The lion died because of the continuous insults inflicted upon him by nooras.

and not to forget that these stupid people also killed a white lion during their campaign, with maryam nawaz, he couldnt bear the insult either...

I think lions are, after all ghairatmand !
